Why is it any time the deal is posted by someone who's associated with the product that it's always either a bad deal or doesn't have most of the information required?

    • +3

because they're just using this site as a free advertising medium

If it's not Crimsafe, its not Crimsafe.

  • So, I was quoted $700 a shutter for manual-winder @ approx 2100 x 1800, standard cream, manufactured by Rolita. Granted, that was roughly a year and a half ago so prices could very well have increased, but the prices indicated on your website indicate roughly $930 for something similar, where I would need to install the shutter. The inclusion of AC or DC motor is good, but wouldn't that need to wired in by a Sparkie? If so, then at a guess I'd say probably around $50-$70 at least per shutter for wiring by a cert. sparkie.

I'm not trying to have a go, I'm just interested to know how your prices compare.

Also, in regards to warranty claims against defects, how would that be processed? Would the shutter need to be disassembled and then sent off for appraisal, etc?

    Thanks.

  • Hi Rep,

Just reading your website about your product. Legitimate question for you regarding sound insulation.
Website quotes "improve the quietness of your home up to 75%". I understand that the shutters themselves are foam insulated, but being that sound waves only need a little space to make that barrier completely ineffective, how do you prevent noise entering the gap between the edge and the shutter itself (space is obviously required to allow the shutters free movement), and also between the guiderails and the brickwork, and when lowered- the bottom of the shutter and the brickwork at the bottom of the window?

The reason I ask such a specific question is that I have roller shutters already, and the main reason I got them was for noise reduction. And they do NOT offer ANY noise reduction at all. Light reduction yes, heat tranmission at summer yes… noise no way.

Your suggestions/thoughts on how your product is able to achieve such high sound reduction appreciated.
If your product is truly capable of reducing noise by such an extent, I'd be willing to replace what I have with your product.
But I'd want to rely on more than what I've read on a website to be satisfied I'd achieve the desired results.

    • Our Product would not differ that greatly with the product you have if you have insulated aluminium shutters. The way to test the shutters if they are sound reduction is to open the window and have shutter open so you can listen to noise radiating from outside. If you don't have enough noise, you can put radio outside your window half a meter away from your window. With the window open, close your roller shutter. You should be able to notice a substantial reduction in noise.

  • Hi genuine question here. Why the price of 1600 X 1200 shutters indicate $789 In your website while at Bunnings ( which this company also supply ) is showing only $704 ?
    Your discount of 15% off X $789 = $670.65 , savings of $33.35 only ? not sure if this even include delivery ) .
Any reason why Bunnings prices are cheaper than $789 for same product ? Isn't much better for me just to get it from Burnings for easier returning too ? Thanks for the answer

    • We can't control Bunnings prices. We can only control our own pricing. You have the choice to purchase from Bunnings. The product is exactly the same, our policies are also the same. Which means you will get easy returning as well.

Delivery is included in our price and same goes with bunnings.
