Groupon is having extra 15% discount offer this weekend, only for purchases made from the Groupon App.

It has their usual discount exclusions - not valid for gift cards and also excludes some tickets (IMAX, Australia Zoo, Wet'n'Wild, Currumbin, Village Roadshow, Build-A-Bear).

Valid 1 per customer, for one single voucher. Maximum discount amount is $50.

  Last time they had 15% off the next day on their site, you miss out cashrewards with app.
  I uninstalled app now. Only buy when 15% on site

    Not correct. Shopping via the app is commissionable as long as you follow these steps. Firstly, make sure the app is installed on your mobile device before you begin. Then simply start your browsing from Cashrewards within your native mobile browser. Click 'Shop Now' or 'Go to Store' which should automatically open the app. Don't leave the app until you've finished your purchases :)

    EDIT: As of 10:30am, the auto-open feature for the app is not working. I've just contacted Groupon, and they are aware of the issue. They've advised it should be fixed by early afternoon (fingers crossed). Until then, there is obviously no way to track your Groupon App purchases via CR. Thank you

      It did not work for me.It only redirects to Groupon mobile site.Tried someone's suggestion the previous post"manually type m.groupon.com.au/intercept" and still did not open the App.

        I think no.Groupon Australia probably does not want it working so they do not pay out commission…

  Bugger. I've been waiting for weeks for Groupon to have a decent site-wide discount, BUT I did not go onto my computer Sat or Sun (I'm on it 10 hours per day Mon-Fri), and now have missed out. Geez. Why make the offer so short that by the time we find out about it, that it is over? Defeats the purpose of having a sale.
