$66 off Koala Mattresses - from $584 Shipped (Single) after Coupon

LOVE66

I read something about new mattress in a box and zero sleep disturbance products in Australia.
Apparently there are a few out there. Koala is one of them and have very positive reviews (a little skeptical about how positive actually).
In any event, they seem to offer a good quality PU product delivered to you at a reasonable price. I think the price of their single is a bit high but the price of their queen seems pretty good.
Anyway, as I was checking them out I noticed this code - thought it might help someone.
If anyone has any comments on this product I would love to hear them.

Forgive me, but I would think the price of their Queens would be pretty good for Mardi Gras.

I have never heard of mattress in a box and zero sleep disturbance products before, is it just some new marketing speil?
they dont mention what materials are used anywhere.

The battle of the Aussie mattress companies begins!
The main rival also has an offer when you register with the website
      http://www.ecosa.com.au/

You can also read this news.com article
      http://www.news.com.au/finance/small-business/the-story-behi…

Looks like Ecosa mattresses and Koala have similar products.

According to the article, Koala have given the materials they use in their mattresses a fancy name (K-4), but the actual material is polyurethane foam. On the other hand, Ecosa use quality latex and memory foams (no fancy names to boost marketing).

Interesting read - both companies deserve support.

so these are just foam mattresses with fancy marketing.
what stops the foam mattress, apart from poor support, being hot in summer. any foam mattresses I have slept on are hot.

There are also referral links that provide a discount for the various companies

Most of the Reviews on product review.com.au seem too good to be true so look on whirlpool ie.

I called oz mattress and the operator couldn't answer simple questions, took my number, and promised to return the call, and I heard nothing so no sale.

Some offer return some offer refund. Read the fine print.

  • They offered 120 days trial. What do they do with the returned mattresses, resell them as new?

    • +1

Recycle, resell or donate to charity depends on there policies.

Ive been doing allot of research on these online mattresses companies as of late Sleeping Duck, Oz mattress, Ergoflex etc

Basically any mattress that can be rolled into a box is not going to give you the support your after..

While Sian72 had a bad experience with OzMatress, from what ive found these guys are the best of the lot (See whirlpool thread http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/1969586 ). There beds are far from being able to rolled into a box and are Oz made too.

    • I'd disagree. I bought two spring mattresses in a box and they are quite supportive.

I suppose it depends if you're too heavy or not.

    • As an owner of a mattress in a box, I also got to disagree with that, they are plenty supportive.

  • I am using both sleeping duck titan and ozmattress Supra
and can say they both are quality products. They provide enough support and very comfortable.

I did extensive research before buying these mattresses and I am happy that i spent my money on them.

I was bit hesitant before buying sleepingduck as it comes in a box..however i am using it for almost 2 months and still very happy with it.

    • Jain231 ide be curious to know what one you find better? dont find many people who own two different mattresses to compare.

Also are you a side back or stomach sleeper?

    • will be interested in what you say in 18 months or so.

I bought a mattress in a box for my um and after about a year of semi regular use it was sagging badly

Koala has been awesome for me and im a big guy. Cant recommend them enough.

    • thanks for the input

  • Any recommendations for futon Mattress (Single Size)?

  • LOVE69 would've be a more appropriate discount code.

  • What's postage like?

    • +1

      Free shipping Australia wide

  • There are 3 layers of foam, so what is the thickness of the 1st layer of memory foam?

  • +1

Bmoney i am actually liking sleepingduck as i find it firmer and it actually provides better support.

This mattress comes with 100 night money back warranty so i guess you can try and if you dont like it then you can always apply for a refund.
