Oo, I remember this poster. He has done this a few times (probably whenever he feels his site needs some traffic :p) and was questioned by some too (in a deal with 60+ votes) but mods seemed to have not said anything against it so I just assumed it was allowed.
I don't see the problem.. He's posted a deal and linked to a site with an image of the deal.
It's easy, decide if the deal interests you, click on the link, view the image.
Nobody is making anybody click on all his google ads.
I went there (viewed the image then closed the tab) and nobody forced me to click any ads - I do have my door locked which helps :)

- Ozbargain doesn't have any bandwidth problems and even if it did 1 deal isn't going to make a difference.
- General blog etiquette would be not to link to a blog (especially your personal blog) unless it offered some kind of analysis/commentary/details that the direct site didn't. eg. Linking to Gizmodo or Whirlpool.
