I have been using hungry jack's shake and win app regularly since last year.
I was in another city until January then moved to Adelaide. Prior to arriving in Adelaide I sometimes won some free goodies from the app, such as free coffee or OJ in the morning, or free chips or frozen coke in the afternoon. Now, I only get two for one or free hush browns in the morning with a muffin purchase. This is as of Feb 2016.
I wonder if anyone else has the same experience?

Yea I haven't won many freebies lately.. it's probably been a few weeks, so yes I have noticed it too!
I read somewhere in the last week or two that the app no longer gives out freebies and HJ have jacked up prices. I can't seem to find the link now but I thought I had read it on OZbargain.
Someone had their free item rejected by the manager, who told him to update his app because they don't give out freebies anymore
son used to work at HJ a year back, sneaky buggers would screen shot the freebie prize to try and use over and over.
I noticed for the first time a worker checked long enough on the app for the timer to actually tick… before that most of the time I didn't even have to show them properly. I only ever got 2 for 1, or discount deals though. Never any free stuff.
I noticed it too. I got turned back trying to get a free bacon deluxe a whole back, I thought it was store specific. But now when I do the rooted android unlimited shakes thing I never get free stuff.
How do you get the unlimited shakes? I know how to manipulate the prizes.plist but I haven' been able to work out the controller for the shakes.
Isn't there an alternative app that shows winning screens constantly? Wonder if they also do 2 for 1 deals etc :P

Just checked the T&Cs. It seems free stuff are technically still "on the menu" (but are probably just not given out anymore).
Shake n win crashes every time i load since yesterday. Tried reinstalling and same deal. Happening to anyone else - i can see a review on the app store from today stating the same issue.
I used it earlier today… didn't have any problems…
itunes is full of review with app crashes now that have all been posted within the last month. I dunno what to try now.
I have not updated the app but been using it daily with same pasby HJ and only getting 2for1 or $3 burgers………was getting freebies frequently…either morning or evening…….thought because I had not updated app…..but becoming a waste of my time\data and battery life of late!
I just keep getting the $3 Grilled Chicken Burger. :-(

I honestly thought this promotion was dead.
Do any of the deals make it worthwhile say compared to maccas or just some good old dominos.
