Grey Goo for under $20? - I'm in! Plus Magicka 2… This is a better bundle than the monthly!

Individual keys in case anyone is wondering.

  • Great bundle - Shadowrun games are a cult classic and heaps of fun!

    • Loved those Shadowrun games!

Awesome, didn't even look at the other games yet, but I've been waiting to play Dreamfall Chapters.
Good excuse to go back and play The Longest Journey again.

    • I really enjoyed the original Dreamfall game on Xbox. It's a shame this one was never released for that platform.

  • Been waiting for a good price on Dreamfall Chapters, cheers :)

  • Nice $1USD FTW!

If you are a Zelda fan don't miss out on Oceanhorn, it proudly wears it's inspirations on it's sleeve.
It's in the cheapest tier too!

Dreamfall and Shadowrun alone are worth far more than $6. Wow, best Humble Bundle in ages.

great bundle, damn these guys constantly taking my money ><

    • And here I was trying not to spend anymore money on games…#failed

How come no one has posted the Star Wars bundle?

  • +1

Magicka 2 also, first time it's been anywhere near that cheap.
    Great bundle

    • Magicka 2 is about 2.35 eur = 3.50 aud on g2play

      just sayin…

      otherwise, great bundle.

  • I kickstartered that game for $125 USD for a physical copy plus delivery (still not delivered).

Still have yet to play it due to episodic nature (I'm waiting for all episodes to be released before I start).

Kind of am kicking myself now.. I thought I was doing something good in helping the game get made, but truthfully it would have been made with or without my pledge. I just consented to being fleeced.

The rest of us thank you for your sacrifice.

I don't blame you though, the cliffhanger in the second game was just insane.

(You are talking about Dreamfall, right?)

      • Yeah..

        Is Chapters good?

It's been 10 years since DF. I don't like Zoe's new look. Her face looks kinda rounder than it was.

        • I only bought it this morning so I actually have not played it! Not even sure if I can afford to keep the 15GB of data installed on my SSD so maybe I'll do what you suggest and wait until the 5th episode comes out before I install it.

I hope it's not like the first game where the puzzle solutions are so obscure that you had to use a guide.

        • I'm up to Book 2 now. It's decent — hasn't sucked me into its world the way the first two games did, yet. Maybe it'll pick up :)
I adored Dreamfall, and liked TLJ (which I played after finishing Dreamfall).
(I was a Kickstarter backer as well)

Truth be told, Life is Strange and The Last of Us have kinda ruined other games for me. Nothing else really compares.

          @ChillBro:

I hope it's not like the first game where the puzzle solutions are so obscure that you had to use a guide.

There was really only one or two puzzles in TLJ which were illogical. The infamous one was the rubber ducky puzzle.

The rest were quite logical when you know the solution.

Dreamfall was an easy game. It de-emphasized puzzles in favor of narrative. Left a lot of unsolved mysteries at the end which Chapters provides answers for.

I get a feeling Chapters puzzles are more like Dreamfall than TLJ. It's not a point and click adventure (though they do want to make another one of those with April as the main character).

Your mistake was playing it in the wrong order. TLJ is regarded as one of the best point and click adventures. But it was 1999 when it released. DF moved away from that, which was polarizing.

I'm more interested in Chapters for the story, not the puzzles. Funcom have been good at creating interesting stories.

I have Life is Strange, but haven't got around to playing it. The hair graphics do put me off a little bit, though that isn't the reason. I've been buried in visual novels lately. These things are long. There's more text than a real novel.

TLOU is not really an adventure game… at least not in the traditional sense. Hard to compare. I would call it a survival shooter.

  • I love the Shadowrun: Dragonfall game, not many games I complete nowadays, that I have.

  • Got it. I wonder what the extra games will be in this bundle?

  • honestly all i want from that is dreamfall not sure when they started introducing a minimum spend

For a good while now. They still have the option of $1 and Beat the Average, but they added the higher tier a little while ago now.

It is cheeky because they add a very tempting game(s) at that higher tier, that then raises the Beat the Average price every time someone gets that tier, making that higher tier more tempting over time as the Beat the Average is close in price to the higher tier.
