if only I was rich and had money.

  • This deal has been posted twice before but was unpublished (can't even be searched) over the last few days.

I posted it 5 minutes before bentan77 this listing it in the comments section of another listing - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/238045

Why didn't the mods just go through and make all the unpublished deals live again?

    • Why didn't the mods just go through and make all the unpublished deals live again?

Yeah they said they were gonna…

Here's the previous unpublished deal. I commented on it so I still have the link.

      • So you can still view that link? Interesting.

I also commented there, but I can't view that page you linked to (Reason: Code not active/deal suspended) nor do the listings show up in the 'comments' section of 'my account'.

        • I can't view it but it does show up in my notifications because someone replied to my comment. That's what I meant sorry.

  • is it good for gaming and graphics design? can I change SSD and what type, would not void warranty?

  • What's the keyboard backlight on this like? Is it around the keys or does it light up the letters themselves?

I had a laptop that lit up around the keys - that was useless for night use because I still couldn't see the letters

    • Learn to touch type, it'll be a bargain resulting in less spend on backlit keyboards =)

      • +1

I know how to touch type, but I still look at the keys occasionally. I'd rather see letters appear than a whole bunch of black squares

        • Not sure about this model, but the previous model definitely has lit key markings.

  • just grabbed one thank you OP :)

  • If I could justify a laptop I'd be all over this, I spent 3.5k on a gaming pc which I am currently barely using for gaming haha!

    • same man, spent 2.5k on a skylake gaming rig and dont game… but its always there when i want. the laptop i take to uni and my girlfriends. if i find a game I like then i have the travel option and a desktop rig.

      • I'm rocking the 5820k I lost patience and didn't want to wait for skylake besides I only paid $480 for my 5820k dirt cheap!

  • I got the refurb i7-6700HQ version of this machine. Stuck an M.2 SSD in it and now it's great, very fast.

Just need to get another 8GB RAM as soon as I can figure out which type to get.
