Help Needed for New Android Phone

Hey guys,

So my LG G3 has completely gone bust and don't have that big of a budget for a new one so only looking to spend around $150-$200.

Ideally looking for something that is waterproof if possible and an expandable SD card. Only going to be used for basic apps, web browsing and music player.

I am also moving to the UK later in the year so would need it be able to work there.

I have been looking at some cheaper Chinese Android phones but to be honest I'm a little bit overwhelmed by the different ones so any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

    Just buy a prepaid cheapie..
    They're not too bad these days.

    Off topic but how long did you have your G3 before it went wrong? I'm thinking of getting one from eBay for $249.

    I own my one for 1.5 years and it is still working good, battery life is good too.

    For $100 -$200, you hardly able to get anything near G3, which you could feel a big different for he speed even surf the net, the screen resolution, camera …

    Under 24 months, to be fair I dropped it and got the screen replaced by a non authorised shop and now the screen is coning loose and making it impossible to use. Not really wanting to spend another $100 on getting screen fixed again.

    Better buy Xperia Z from gumtree if you are comfortable with it.

    You could get something more expensive and get the TRS off when you leave Australia?

    Maybe a Galaxy S5 or something?
