I was shopping for engine oil and oil filters for my car at Supercheap online store, while saw these Ryco platinum oil filters for $7.77 and $8.77. This price was not advertised by Supercheap Auto and these platinum oil filters are usually $2 more expensive than similar Ryco standard oil filters.

Z386he $7.77
Z79ahe $7.77
Z436he $8.77

Usually these sell for about $13 - $18. I guess these ones are better than the standard Ryco filters so I bought 5 of them for both of my cars. Could be useful for some ozbargain fellows looking to stock up for next few services.

  FYI, the Platinum range suggests service intervals to be done every 5000km.

  Beware these are superseded by the "ST" line up. For example z432st, z547st. The newer has better efficiency and longer service interval (15000km ,the older HE only 5000kms).

    Thanks, I'm a courier and can't afford to muck about for the sake of a couple of dollars! I'd rather know my Prius is protected when I'm getting up it. That being said, bloody awesome deal!
