  I think that is fine for N40L and N54L, only really need ECC for the G8.

  Obviously, not. The L means low voltage, unless the ram you buy supports low voltage operation.

  Picture of the ram saying its DDR3L and its 1.35v. I have alienware 15 which support DDR3L and still bought this assuming the picture is correct, in case i got DDR3 which is 1.5v i will send it back and say item doesn't match description.
