Not sure if the Chibi Robo Zip Lash bundle is a bargain? It's cheaper on eBay lol
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Amiibo-Chibi-Robo-Zip-Lash-Free-S…

    Must have been a fail…

    • +2

Well people mostly just want the amiibo in it since it's not sold seperately

I'm only collecting the "traditional" characters. So Amiibo like this are not "core" to my collection.

Nintendo seem to be releasing Amiibo for all their characters and in different "poses" for different games. They aren't getting my money that easily (plus I also don't have enough space :))

        • They can easily milk this whole franchise if they wanted to. They can do all 700+ pokemon and swimming in their money banks all day. Don't know why they haven't done it yet though.

For $2 I think I'd rather go big w, the link you posted is a UK seller which means 2+weeks on standard shipping

      • -2

Not if you are only collecting. In that case you should acquire the goods as cheap as possible!

In my opinion, anything collectable to me I would rather buy in person. Saving a few bucks buying overseas means the packaging risks being damaged (has happened to me before) and that would suck if you were to put it on display or have it in mint condition (since the purpose for it is a collectable).

        • @watty: not to mention not being able to inspect the figure for any printing errors or blemishes

        • @reactor:

lol they would only make them go up in value.

I know this sounds ridiculous, but from a collector point of view, it will be far more desirable to have a copy with that Green G than a USK logo. Will be worth far more than $2 down the track. Just one of those videogame collecting quirks.

      • How so? Is the collector market located in A/NZ only?

        • +1

People generally want the localised version (even if its just the class), and the Australian printed classification is always going to be a lower print run than a European one. The only time its not lower print is when there is no Euro version at all, and in that case European collectors generally pay good money for Australian Exclusives.

    • It's a difference of less then $2. How is that a fail?

    • +3

Wrong…that eBay link..is NOT the bundle

.unfortunately that seller will post you the amiibo only!!! I know because I fell for the pictures too.. In fact when I bought he advertised it as game and amiibo so I won PayPal Case now he has at least changed the description.. Still deceving and same picture of bundle advertised..

Oh and not to mention the amiibo box when it did come was crushed heavily and poorly shipped

    • As above… ;)

  • I loved that Nintendo announced they are making mobile games, but 3DS will keep getting premium games, then gives us this crap that clearly was made by 20 people in 6months. Oh well, lets hope NX is a bit better supported.

Looks like they dropped the price on a few other things again if you wanna add them.

    $20 Fossil Fighters 3DS
    $29 Fantasy Life 3DS
$199 New 3DS Console Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer
$199 New 3DS XL Console Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer

I thought they were still live from last post, cheers I will I will add them in :)

    • Very hard to find the console bundles. Wiped out by ozb last time.

      • Still some around plus EB have been price matching. It helps when it's on their website too.

  • You might wanna add Pokemon Omega Ruby & Pokemon Alpha Sapphire for $49. Now I wonder why they don't put these discounts in their shopping catalogues

  • Thanks a lot OP. I just got myself one :)

    I love Chibi-Robo!

  • Is Chibi-Robo worth buying for the game?

    • nope! ign gave it 5/10

Who cares about reviews? Make your own mind up!

Better watch a youtube video. My kid loves it too :)

        • Yep, I enjoyed the game. IGN and GameSpot marked it harshly. I would give it a 6.8/10.

It's extremely average. Good concept but very average execution, level design is basic, gets dull quickly.

  • Guys please dont buy this version of Mortal kombat x
The xl edition is out and has all the other charcters. I believe ozgameshop has it for $55 http://www.ozgameshop.com/xbox-one-games/mortal-kombat-xl-xb…

  • I just bought n3ds xl 4 days ago with gift card dicount…
upper screen is not even ips.
    I shoulda waited this deal.

    • Just buy this and refund with the old receipt.

  • The struggle of the individual AC HHD game being normal price. Should I just get the $29 bundle with the NFC reader despite having the new 3ds?

  • +1

Am I crazy to be tempted to grab a PS3 at that price as a backup for if/when my existing original Fat PS3 dies?

    • +2

Do it! I have two and still awesome if you have a backlog of good games. Buy a hdd bracket and chuck an old laptop 2.5" HDD :)

      • Yeah, my original Fat 40Gb is running 500Gb now. :P ..and yes, I have a backlog of games to play which could still take me a while. ;)

        Thanks

        • +2

          Yeah get it

    • Is the price still $139? it's not showing on their website anymore.

  • Wanted the XL 3DS Animal Crossing…called 5 stores showing low stock. No one has them. Is their inventory system that bad or what?

    • +1

Maybe ring customer service to see if they can find one for you and send it to a local store

    • I rang about 15 stores and only two stores had one each. I bought one for 179( $20 discount for gfit card) at Mennai. Nerllan had one but they told me it is still 269 in their system.
