Currently unavailable online. Managed to get 1 @Target High Point Vic, still 9 left around lunch today. So believe there are still many in stores, people might not notice of the price change because there was no mark down sign @ HPoint Target.
So if you want one can either call up or go directly to the nearest stores to check stock availability.

This cooker is still around $200 mark @ Harvey Norman, JB Hifi, Myer. TGG..etc

P.s: whoever bought it @previous deal and still new/unopen/& receipt, I believe you can get the different back :)

*Philips $30 cash back promotion: must purchase between 23/3/2016-22/5/2016

Tip: most/all stock should be gone by now so you wont be able to make any purchase anymore. So if you dont mind the hassel then do a return and repurchase your item again. Or maybe ask target to reissue new receipt without bringing back your cooker :) they might help :) goodluck 😜

Not buying the one here no matter what, if you are into Asian cuisines

I did extensive research on this before during the eBay sales. Although at this price its good if you don't care, making western stuff only.

    • So you are saying the Australia version cannot cook Asian cuisines? Pressure cooker is just the same you can cook whatever you like.

My Asian friends use their pressure cooker cook whatever they want.

    • How are you supposed to know what the buttons do, let alone read the instructions

Scored one from Glenorchy, TAS - they had a few left still last night.

Cooked the chinese chicken soup last night - awesome!!

    • Wow thats alot!

i recommend starting with a smaller country.

  • Is this a good buy and what does it do? What was the price when first sold and how low as it be in past. Already have a slow cooker, whats the pressure cooker for? Have one reserved but wanted to know if we really need it.

  • Bought 2 from Warringah last night, one as a present for mum. Thanks to the tip from @superforever above, Warringah still had a whole stack of them last night.

Got me wondering what's different about Northern Beaches that pressure cookers aren't selling even at half price…

    • Thanks to the tip from @superforever above,

No problem, you may have bought the one I returned :p

Got me wondering what's different about Northern Beaches

I got quite some bargain from Warringah Mall, like DSE crazy special, sometime Myer and David Jones. May be people from Northern Beaches are too rich and didn't care about bargains.

    • How many were left?

      • Edit: all gone

        • Are you sure, they are inside hide behind other stuff.

        • @superforever: I had a good look, and was told there was none left when they checked stock levels.

        • @UNO:

That was quick @UberDubster said still have a stack yesterday.

  • Lol at all the typo's in the manual :p

  • Just called Target Fountain Gate and apparently it's out of stock. Anyone know if there's any stock in south east Melbourne?

  • Target Pakenham might still have 2 available, I got one from there today.

  • Got the last one from campbelltown. Box had been open and missing the cook book, everything else looks to be there.

Price matched at The Good Guys Carseldine QLD (list price was $198), I could tell it was painful for them judging from the facial expression of the sales girl/manager & how long it took for the manager to approve the match.

Any chance you can share a copy of the receipt? I wanna try and get it price matched at Good Guys too. Thanks in advance

Must purchase between 9am 23/03/2016-22/05/2016 to be able to claim the cash back. :(
Return and repurchase to be able to make the claim??? ehehe

      • Glad you mentioned this as I was spewing I already recycled the box and was feeling ill :P

        • If you dont mind the hassel then bring the receipt back to target and ask them nicely to issue a new one for you :) (return n repurchase without bringing back the cooker). Im sure they are happy to do it for you :)

      • Only if you can still find stock. If you can locate one you can buy it and return it with the old receipt :p

May be you can update the title to includes the cash back.

        • No need, just bring the receipt back to target and ask them to do a return n repurchase again? :) hopefully the price is still the same when you get there :) i just did mine tonight hihi gluck everyone ;)

        • @cassini25:

target and ask them to do a return n repurchase again?

Last time they said I have to physically return the good and go and buy it again. So only if they still have stock for me to buy and return with the old receipt.

Wondering can I use the original $145 receipt which I have returned once and return it again with that receipt? They didn't cross it out on the receipt.

        • [@superforever: hahaa really :) dont think any stock left with target. Can try, nothing to lose ;)

        • @cassini25:

i just did mine tonight hihi gluck everyone ;)

They allowed you to do that? In the exchange section they need the physical stock to put it at the back for them to count before they can put it back to sale again.

I think they don't have a record in their system than the receipt was being used to return before.

        • [@superforever]: we just actually need the date to be changed on the receipt so no need to put stock back and forth. They can easily do it for you. :)

        • @cassini25:

Thanks for the tips will try to ask tomorrow.

        • [@superforever] hope you still have the product box because you need to cut the barcode from the product box and sent it off with a copy of your purchase receipt.

Thanks for the tips, finally the manager agreed to re-issue the receipt for me today.

    • Just saw it today from JB catalogue, oh well already using it and no more stock left to return and buy it again.

    • Thanks Nur :) 👏👏👏

  • Tried to return and repurchase, they didn't do it and said it should go through return process and We need to get it back and after 3 days put if on floor again etc…
Spoke with supervisor and said they cannot do it :(

    • You poor thing :( sorry to hear that tho :(

I managed to have Target reissue a new receipt with today's date (bought it initially on 17/3/16) without having to bring in the box!

    • Had you to buy again? i have just noticed this cashback. I purchased it on 21st and see there is Cashback from 23rd so did you ask them to give new receipt did not know it be possibke? You not got to buy one?
Would be great if i could get a new receipt and able to claim the cashback.
Honestly philips should honour it as was only two days before.

      • I don't think you can get them to change it now because it is no longer on discount on target site.

      • I simply asked the nice girl at the customer service/layby area if she could do a return and reissue the receipt without having the item on me, which she happily did for me! I didn't need to buy again, I think she returned it so that I had store credit, which was then used to rebuy the item for me? She did it within a minute or so, it was a very efficient process! Just go ask them when the store is a bit quiet, otherwise you'll be a bit of a nuisance to them :) if they won't let you do it, just explain that you were only 2 days out from a cashback offer, I'm sure they'll understand! Let us know how you go, it seems that each store is different in what they do, so good luck!!!

        • I contact customer services online regarding this they said they don't or can't alter receipts but then you did say you purchased again but I questioned why a clearance item has went up in price they said it's not it's still $104 price.
Maybe you got lucky? I wonder if it has to be same target as I did not buy it at my nearest store

        • @bwatt99:
Maybe I did get lucky! Just go into the store and ask for yourself and see if you're lucky too. You never know your chances until you ask, but make sure you're nice to them lol they're doing you a favour, it's not something that they're required to do for you :)

        • @shopping4love:

Yeah I think you just got lucky because the system have to be the same price for you to re-buy it.

  • Expired $209 now.

  • I just got one of these from myer, does anyone else find it takes a long time to heat up before it starts Cooking?
I just cooked about 2 cups of rice and it took 20mins to heat up plus 14 mins to cook
This is my first pressure cooker so I dont know if thats normal
