Shimano Ultegra 11sp Groupset $667.05 delivered from Ribble Cycles (Usually ~$800+)

SHIM25

Great price on an excellent groupset. Similar price to the PBK deal posted a week or so ago. Contains all cables required.

The Ultegra 6800 series is "pro-proven" as it is a direct trickle down from the Shimano Dura Ace groupset.

This 11 speed groupset sits one below Dura Ace and has many of the same features, but at a much more affordable price. The brakes are dual-pivot, resulting in much stronger braking performance, and ultimately more confidence. The gearing, available in 2x11, but with a wide range 11-32T cassette option on the rear, is very smooth, and the hood combined with carbon brake levers are comfortable to use on longer rides. A fantastic groupset for the more enthusiastic rider, or racer.

All of our groupsets include all cables required.

    so it's about 5% off then ???

    • Depending on where you can get it from and what spec you're after it's usually more like $800-900 online. So about 15% or so off.

      Title updated :)

  • You know what's been annoying me about Shimano lately?

I have the older 10spd Shimano 105s, and if you had no reason to upgrade to the 5800 series (like I did) and need to replace any parts now…too bad!

Gotta replace the while drive train now or one part will be incompatible.

And I'm sure the 5800s only have another year or two before the 5900 relegates them to obscurity.

    Bah!

On topic, has anyone used Ultegra in a cyclo cross setup? Otherwise I'll wait for SRAM to go on sale…

    • Have you looked at the Shimano compatability charts? I put some random Ultegra parts in to an old 10spd 105 set up on my bike that sits on the trainer. Haven't had any issues.

      • Bit of a convoluted compatibility checker, but I figured it out.

And none of the currect 105 5800 series rear derailleurs are compatible with most of the other parts.

However I did stumble across an Amazon seller offering the old 5700 part for a decent price!

        Cheers mate.

Edit: Well that seller doesn't ship to Aus :|
