As for the deal its OK but seems a bit pricey to me.. 360's should be cheaper these days than this.

Yeah i know but its still too dear, as Livert's post below shows. And that was a while ago, the 360 has been out forever now, there's no reason to pay $500 for a console of that age regardless of the HDD size (which is really immaterial as you only need about 60 gig or so) and game included. Still too high i think sorry
I bought this unit a few months ago when DSE had it on special. I've already used ~80GB worth of the HDD, and I only have 5 or 6 games on there. 60GB would be usable, but wouldn't cut it.
@northirid: you don't have to have 10+ games installed onto your hdd at on time, remove some and just have a few games that you are currently playing installed
@northirid: All that says is that you're inefficient or lazy. I've had a 60GIG console for over a year and never used more than 30 or so, but i like to keep things tidy like my PC too, so i delete rubbish im not currently playing, surely you cant be currently playing 10 games or so. As 5 or 6 games taking up 80GB of space, sorry that doesnt seem to make sense to me, the xbox games are not blu-ray or that size normally that just doesnt add up.

Yeah maybe the DSE deal was not a good example because it was one day only. What about the Final Fantasy deal? That was not a one-day deal. It was active for well over 2 weeks. It was $497, a 250GB hard drive, plus 2 new games (Final Fantasy and Dragon Age). And 2 controllers were offered as well.
This isn't a good deal. If Ebgames, of all stores, can afford to offer the 250GB 360 console with 2 new games for $497, I don't see any reason why anyone would pay for this offer on a console deal with a game that's well over 6 months old. This simply isn't a good price for the 250GB console with 1 game and 1 controller.
Game has the Final Fantasy XIII edition (250GB, newer game and 2 controllers) for $1 cheaper.
@ragflan: Don't compare the games. Some people might prefer to buy MW2 instead of FFXIII. You can always sell FFXIII and buy MW2 and still have 15 or 20 dollars left.
All 250GB super elites have dropped to an RRP of $499. You can definitely find them cheaper than this or with extra games etc.
I can get it for $422 and think thats a poor deal

Compare that to the image in this deal. It's missing one controller. It looks like the exact same image except one controller was removed from the image.
I put the images side by side. Left hand side is this deal. Right hand side is official Xbox site's image. Which is similar to Gamespot and I remember Ebgames having the MW2 Console with 2 controllers as well.
