    And OP if you're considering the boss blender - do it!! I got one from Myer for $439 on sale at christmas and it has just been incredible. Highly highly recommended.

    No it doesn't. Your stomach does all that work. The "work" is what keeps you feeling full, but liquifying it you feel full for less time.
