A couple times recently when I logged into my ebay account, I get this "You've scored 20% off - voucher in MY EBAY" message. But when I looked in MY EBAY area, I simply could not see a code anywhere. I logged in from the PC.
Am I the only one facing this problem?

Many thanks for the reply. Yes, prior to this when given the message, I had googled and looked at the instructions - which all talked of a voucher section.
In my case, there simply is no such section in "MY EBAY" area. I did a find for the variations of word "vouchers" on the page - and there were none. I even tried different browsers, no luck!
Really perplexing!
Just curious, does the section "Vouchers" exist if there are no currently applicable vouchers?
(If not, then perhaps ebay made a mistake, saying I scored a voucher when I didnt.)
On the left hand side click on Summary. (Above Buy and Purchase History)
It shows up on that screen for me, I'll take a screenshot if you can't see it.

I have exactly the same thing happening. 20%, but no voucher. I've used their vouchers before, so know where to look, but there is no voucher there!

Yes I searched everywhere. Also logged in with my phone where it normally shows in notifications, but nothing. I wonder if we complained to eBay they would give it to us? I think they would, but I really don't have anything large I'd buy at the moment to make it worth the effort.
Yes, I think they would too if we complain. But too much hassles for too little gain.
@bluesky: Have you looked at a listing? It may say "did you know you could pay $XX for this" hover over the icon or select 'click here' and it will reveal a voucher code. It doesn't show up under my account landing page either.

@bluesky: Ok sometimes it isn't immediately obvious unless you scroll down. They are usually linked to paying with PayPal though.

Are they random across accounts?
Must be targeted - the message is displayed as you log into the account.
I was offered a 10% voucher today but I had the same problem as you and couldn't see the voucher. I spent 30 mins to 1 hour trying to find that damn voucher lol. :/ I finally figured out what you're supposed to do for it to appear. Log into your Ebay and click on "My Ebay or My Ebay summary", at the top right near the small image of the bell. It doesn't matter which one you choose (My Ebay/My Ebay summary), you just need to be at the page that has your Watch list. Then slowly scroll down the page only a little (not all the way down) and the Watch List, Orders & Voucher button should appear at the top. Here's a screenshot of what you should see.

When you click on the voucher button, it will automatically scroll down the page and you should see something similar to this.

If doing these steps doesn't work, it wouldn't make sense why it works for me and not for you. I'm using Chrome and haven't tried this with any other browsers, let me know if it works or not.

Perhaps it will only work during a session where I get the "You scored 20% off" message. As I log in and out, not every time am I presented with this message. Maybe that is why I have no luck applying your technique so far - since it is not within a session where I got the message.
Just seems crazy to make it so hard to find …
I have the problem with my selling account. Every time I log in it says I have 15% off. But no voucher :(

How frustrating that must be? Interesting that you get the message every time you log in. Whereas in my case, some sessions I get the "You score 20% off" message, and others I don't.
Also, as Gofast was saying, Ebay would probably provide a voucher if you contact them.
Which all makes me wonder; have been on eBay for 7 years now and have never even been offered a voucher (and they make enough from me). Only yesterday I purchased a number of items through them; $68 Target and $290 from Kogan. Perhaps because I get a tickle from Cash Rewards? It is not always obvious when you have them. I have been on eBay many years, never saw a voucher. Once I found out they existed and watched for it I had one 2 weeks later. I would not have seen it unless I was actively looking for it. Easiest way to watch for them is notifications on your mobile eBay app I think.
No point getting them, you still have to find them first :-)

Today, thought I'll try the voucher hunt again using tips by daveaus and Glitch The Matrix.
This time I logged in and the message was "20% off Kogan at EBAY, use code CKOGAN20 at checkout".
The code accompanied it. Wish Ebay would just do that for the generic EBAY offers as well.
Well, probably means the 20% off is no more.
I had the same thing happen to me bluesky and it is a glitch in the Ebay system. I searched on google at the time and found a thread, I think it was on the Ebay community, about others having the same problem, but I can't find that thread now.
I contacted Ebay with a screenshot of the log in splashpage and they verified it and honoured the discount. It was a painful process as it was a bit of back and forth getting it done but it was worth it as there was something I wanted to buy.
OK thanks for sharing. So quite a bit of hassles to get it, which may or may not be worthwhile-depending on circumstances.
I got curious, and emailed eBay. They acknowledge there is no voucher there. Said to buy, then email them with item and they will refund the 20% to my PayPal account.

Wonder why Ebay doesn't just post the code. It is trying to entice us with the discount, and then it makes it a hassle.

When you go into my ebay there is a section called Vouchers. It should be under there.
