    Had one of these for about 4 years and can certainly vouch for their reliability and robustness. Unlike the description I could never get it to start with one pull like my Honda mower, but it it was easy with about 3 pulls for me. Only thing I found it is a bit heavy and a bit awkward for edging, but then again it is a trimmer. As I now only have a fairly tame lawn I ended up buying the Ryobi 18V edger/trimmer Bunnings $90 deal and haven't looked back, now only half the effort and half the time.

      Same, mine was never 1 pull start. I'm not complaining though because the 2nd pull always gets it going. Mines a straight shaft, had it for 6 years. Runs like it's brand new still. Amazing things. Only thing I'm not a fan of is the cord feeder system, I never quite figured that out, supposed to work automatically, mine never did regardless of how it was fed. Minor issue. still love it.

        Great if you live in Melbourne, but I can't imagine delivery cost repulsive be cheap given the size and weight of these things.
        I bought a makita er2650 for $299 from bunions today. As it's still unopened, I'm wondering how it compares to the Honda as I could return it and order one of these? Has anyone had experience with the two models? I've got a lot of edging to do. Some against concrete, but also a fair bit against plastic edging and retaining walls etc.
