Free ice cream from Ben & Jerry's, 25-27 South Steyne, Manly, Sydney. Scoop Day is a promotion they have been running in the US and other parts of the world for years but as this is their first Australian location they are now running it here. Looking at the description, it appears you can eat as much ice cream as you want.

I have been to Ben&Jerry's free scoops before overseas.
(Free Cone Day is celebrated internationally, except in Hong Kong)
(It was on 23rd March 2010 in most countries)
(Somehow, it's on 20th April in Aussie)
The ice cream is NOT unlimited.
You will only be given one scoop at a time.
And considering that it will be publicised at the location (ie. Manly),
the queuing time should be anywhere between 1 to 4 hours.
Therefore, you essentially can get one scoop every 1 to 4 hours.
That's if you bother to queue all over again.
Alternatively, get your friends to queue for you.
Serving size is traditionally: 1 scoop on a cone.

In other countries, I have heard of people going around to various branches for a scoop each. Been to a couple of countries now on Free Cone Day over the years but never seen a 4 hour queue before! Must be massive fans..

Don't forget that there is only ONE branch in the whole of Australia.
So everyone would have to go to that one branch.
Hopefully, the wait isn't that long.
There's always a 3-5 minute queue at the shop as it is. Imagine what it will be like on Free Cone Day. I think the queue would run all the way to the Corso. Could be worse, the day could fall on a weekend.
Damn, I clicked on the Free Cone link thinking I'll get high as a kite, but alas, its just ice-cream… at least you can still get high… on suggar!
