Was excited to get Taken King and Borderlands to play with the bf but the prices changed once I went to pay so ended up cancelling the cart :(

  I don't think so. I think Amex gets charged to paypal, and coop gets paid by paypal. I used paypal when I booked flights and my cc provider told me that my complimentary insurance wasn't included because I'd booked with paypal rather than the airline directly.

To the questions on stock.
If you received an email stating that the item was unavailable or had to be redirected to our warehouse, it means that its OUT OF STOCK and is on backorder. (We usually take backorders, hence the message. In this particular case we cannot take backorders.

I want to be fair here, and as I have promised we will own up to the mistake as far as we can.

That said. For those who received the "Item unavailable" or "Redirected to warehouse" I hope you understand that we cannot supply you with a copy, or exchance. You can probably guess that these prices were well below cost price.

So this is what will happen. Myself and my team will go through the orders tomorrow, and If I see anyone that have ordered an amount that signals "resale" (I.E Several units of the same title) I will give my team the liberty to cancel a fair amount and transfer them to "fair" orders, that got the out of stock message.

That way majority of you will have gotten a pretty insane deal, and the ones that abused it will probably give me a verbal flogging and call it "unfair"

I'm cool with that. Are you ?

  However, one of my orders had 1 xbox one copy of a game and a ps4 copy of the same game, that is NOT for resale that's for me and a friend. I would hope that this does not fall under a "resale" order. I think this is a fair order.
  
  I would just hope that you have some sort of reasoning and not lump all multiple orders as "unfair".
  
  Anyway, GREAT SERVICE and GOOD ON YOU for replying and being so gracious with this "incident". I for one am VERY impressed with your swift responses and a lot of other online shops would do well to take a leaf out of your book!

  We will immediately schedule refund on all potential cancellations.
  
  PayPal paid orders will take 1-2 business days for our finance team to process - The amount is instantly back in your PayPal account when processed.
  
  Normal CreditCard payments can take 1-2 weeks for it to be back on your account. (I know this is pretty bad, and we are working on a faster solution here)
  
  GiftCard payments, will be exchanged with the equivalent value to a new giftcard. Usually 1-2 business days.
  
  Hope this manages expectations.

      1x Bloodbourne-PS4 + 1x Witcher 3-PS4 + 1xDestiny-PS4 = DREAMPACK! thats fine.
      
      We will send you all the titles we have in stock, and just cancel the titles we didn't have in stock.

  I'm pretty sure that you will get your money back if your order is cancelled. The Co-op Bookshop is a well established and respectable business that has been in Australia for nearly 60 years. It's not in their nature to take your $50 and run.
  
  In fact, this time around they are willing to lose money and keep us "tight arses" happy :-)

    If you get an email that items were unavailable / directed to Customer care Team / warehouse, then those titles will not go through.

      The issue is for many of us we filled up our carts to a) reach $60 for the amex cash back offer of $15 (significant), and the free shipping of $50?
      
      If it dropped below $60 for example I'd prefer throwing something in for say $25 like little big planet, as it'd be $10 after getting the $15 off amex …..
