Store does not look legit says VAT at the bottom of the page.
There is no ABN number or anything else that makes it legit.
Most likely selling keys provided as giveaways.

Look here for real discounts on security related software

Looks shonky (no contact details either) but they do claim that "all our software's are 100% guanine" which inspires enormous confidence - not.

Been using Bitdefender on a trial on multiple PCs for about 5 months. I will not be buying it when time runs out. It is incredibly buggy. For example telling it to ignore a directory doesn't work for me. As a result I've resorted to telling it not to move any suspicious file but simply to block it from running. Also seems to mess with file sharing from some older hardware (e.g. Wii). Work around for that was to disable stealth mode. Lots of time wasting bugs that take a lot of time to work through.

Why not download a free Internet Security package that is superior in performance and completely free:

    Comodo Internet Security
    https://www.comodo.com/home/internet-security/free-internet-…

I use it on all my clients computers (and my own).

    Happy days

    • I have heard of Comodo and I know a lot of people using it.
How does it compare against Kaspersky, Nod32, Bitdefender?

      • Relatively poorly AV Test. They rate MSE higher.

        • Ive been using comodo internet security in conjunction with lifetime license of malwarebytes for over 5 years now and I couldn't praise comodo higher, yes it is not completely 'dumb' like the others (will have some prompts and might need slight setting up, plus the firewall sometimes blocks things I need to use like FTP and I have to configure it manually) and you might need to learn a little about it while using it but it is certainly an EXCELLENT security suite IMO on par with any of the other big vendors, comodo just makes its money selling licenses to dummies who need geekbuddy support to help delete the threat from quarantine or they think the paid product is 'better' than the free because it comes with 'support'.

Well think about it. its not like any of the results could be bias now could it? Possibly getting kick backs for the results??
You know exactly like every other industry does their trial tests to make themselves look better?

"It has been widely known that individual companies are being allowed to supply specific "samples" to several "independent testing companies" so that their product will rate much higher then the competitions'."

        • @cheapchap: Phhtt. Comodo is NOT on a par with the best and iirc from previous tests a few years back has never been. It may suit some people.

Read the website, look at the tests, look at previous results. AV Test and AV Comparatives (no Comodo tests there - likely didn't want to submit their suite for testing) are the two best sites for testing and comparing AVs. They test and rate across a whole range of criteria and leave it to the reader to decide what's best for them. They also test on different platforms and differentiate for home and corporate users. They may not pick up every nuance for every situation (eg how various suites interact with various bits of blocking software people love to load) but I doubt you'll find better analyses anywhere.

        • @Possumbly: I never said it was 'the best' I just said I praised it highly

"no Comodo tests there - likely didn't want to submit their suite for testing"

          https://www.av-test.org/en/antivirus/home-windows/

Check out the link and tell me if you notice something; namely
          "Comodo Internet Security Premium 8.2"

granted it is 'premium' version listed which is identical to the free suite except afaik for geekbuddy support so not sure what your getting at since AV-Test also praise it highly..lol, anyways man i dont care what AV has the biggest dick this month I was just trying to be helpful.

        • @cheapchap: Try reading what I wrote - AV Comparatives. If you look above you will see that I had already linked to AV Tests evaluations which indicate that Comodo is nowhere near "on a par with the big vendors" as you claim, in fact it rates overall lower than MSE. Nothing wrong with being helpful but it's useful if you know what you're talking about in the first place. There are quite a few good free AVs which are better.

  • Shopping cart goes through to a page that says "sorry our paypal // credit card service is broken, please send money by direct debit from your bank account". hmmmm… sounds phishy to me…

    • "Q: Why do we need direct deposit?
A: The reason for this is basically if you do not have credit card then this will be the only option for buying any products from us. Here we would like to tell you that, most of the bank and financial institution in Bangladesh launched a debit card such as Visa debit or MasterCard debit which serve exactly the same purpose like a credit card."

      Think I will pass.
