  • I am genuinely surprised you found some name brand headphones this far into the liquidation sale. They must have left them out the back or something.

It all depends on the area there the Dick Smith is located. My nearest one is often frequented by Centrelinkers so good stuff remains a lot longer, compared to other more affluent areas I've been to (with only Move and DS branded stuff left).

This store still has some Sony h.ear headphones (in "red"). Probably will pick them up once it hit's 50% but I'm in no rush.

I saw solo2 wireless for same price. Any idea if I should buy this or solo2 wireless?

    • +1

Wireless are worth the freedom, however with Beats headphones, you can only use them if they have juice, even when wired (well, at least the Studio ones that I have, not sure about Solos)

      • +1

The Solo's still work even though there's no juice left

        • Ya it can work as wireless and as wired when it run out of battery. But to come back to my original question will you consider studio 2.0 or solo2 wireless as a bargain for same price?

Beware of the noice cancelling hiss. For listeners of more quiet genres like classic or instrumental the hiss is overly notieceable. The Bose QC25's are superior in this aspect.

Wearing the QC25's as I type this… can't even hear the train. Best NC headphones!

  • I was there a few days ago. They had an entire table full of these. Not sure how many are left now, but if you get in quick you may be in luck.

How do these compare to the official licensed One direction or Biebs by Justin Bieber Headphones

    • They will all make you look awesome, bro.

    • You will be Beiblieve!

  • They wouldn't sell me the display seinheisser momentum over ears and in box was sold out but plenty on ear memento left at Bourke st store

  • Loads of these on George St today in Sydney

On an unrelated note, they're all out of Dyson vacs; Dyson own the display models and are taking them back

  • Does anyone know which dicksmith in melbourne still has stock for mechanical keyboards?

  • Hey OP, did they have other colours or just red?

    • They had different colours (can't exactly remember but I think they had blue or black)?

      • Thanks thinking of getting the blue one :) Hope they still have a few left.

  • Cranbourne got 1 Logitech G310 mechanical KB as I bought one this morning.

  • Southport, QLD (gold coast) has a crapload of these…

The Liverpool store also has quite a few red and blue Studio 2.0 (non-wireless), some titanium (grey/black trim) left.

    • Is it possible to help checking the Victoria stock for the black trim? :) Thank you in advanced…

      • +1

Couldn't see any that far south. Normally we just get NSW and some (hardly any) parts of QLD/VIC.

We can still check on the system in your local store (although many staff don't want to). Most larger stores should have them in stock unless in popular shopping centres.

        • Does anyone know if any beats are still available in NSW or VIC stores?
