  • Adina Apartment Hotel Brisbane $238 for 2 nights weekend Fri 24th Apr to Sun 26th June (hotel.com.au)

    $238 is a good price for a 2 month stay… Less than $4 per day !!!

    • JV you can talk to them as they "Our service doesn't stop once you have booked. Hotel prices fluctuate, so after you book we keep checking prices for you. If we see what you've booked at a cheaper price we will let you know how to secure the better price."

      • If you book ahead, and the price drops we let you know, we check the price daily so you don't have to have basically. We regularly save customers money with this service, please see full details http://www.hotel.com.au/group/price-guardian.htm - and any queries please let me know.

        • Rep, does this include where a discount coupon could be added (ie: if I booked today and then hotels.com.au had a 10% off generic coupon / promo code) does your system work out the absolute cheapest fare?

        • +1

@pw2002au: Hi, we are Hotel.com.au (please note the spelling). We don't do coupon codes but we do have cash rewards. For this deal for a first time booker with Hotel.com.au we have a $25 cash reward when you spend more than $150.

        • @SleepWithUs: Thanks. So basically you are guaranteeing that if the hotel offers your company/website a better rate you will assist in getting the cheaper rate. Its really not a comparison against other websites.

        • +1

@pw2002au: The hotels do control what price they sell their own rooms for and if that price changes after you book most of the time we will have that information and can let you know. It works well when you plan ahead and book ahead, you get a confirmed booking, the the price is set for you and if a sale does come up you can take advantage of the cheaper price or upgrade the room. The booking has to have a free cancellation period for our Price Guardian service to work too.

        • @SleepWithUs: Thanks for the prompt response. Good luck with the business in a very competitive market!

    • Thanks for that typo fixed.

  • Hi Rep. Any good deal for Goldcoast for 5 adult and 2 child from 10th June to 15th June? Would prefer serviced apartment.

  • Anything for 16th - 18th April?

  • Just to clarify "There is a $25 cash reward for 1st time bookers with Hotel.com.au for bookings over $150. Just email your booking number to us at [email protected] with your paypal account or Australian Bank account details."

Is this for ANY Hotel booking in Australia? Or just those listed?

    • On the home page they mention you get this offer when you sign up for emails, so I presume it is for any booking >$150.

      • Cheers! First booking made.

        • Tops! Glad we could help.

  • I like the price guardian concept:
    http://www.hotel.com.au/group/price-guardian.htm

    • Thanks Gaz, Price Guardian is helping customers every day. Eg a customer booked in Feb this year for a stay in Cairns in June 2016. Yesterday we sent him an email to let him know the $1,320 3 night stay (5 star hotel) is now available for $1,045 or a $275 saving. You can of course take the money, but it also gives you the option to add breakfast or upgrade the room if available too. Thats the sales pitch, the limitations are, you need to book ahead, the further you book ahead the better for it to work and it can only work on flexible rate bookings. We are going to expand this to more restrictive type bookings where the savings is greater than the cost of cancellation, say for example cancellation cost is first night only which is quite common, and you have a 7 night stay, you can still come out ahead if a sale comes up.
