Accor Plus Subscription: 10% Cashback (Online Membership Purchase) @ TopCashback AU

70

Stack with Accor Plus Explorer now $349 (down from $399)

TA's Tracking Tips:

  • Prior to using TopCashback, disable/remove all 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc), VPNs, avoid browsers such as Brave and close any additional browser tabs.
  • For iOS device: Apart from ensuring you’re not using an AdBlock app for Safari, the most important one is to ensure you have ‘Prevent Cross-Site Tracking’ turned off (see here).

What will stop me getting my cashback

  • Cashback is eligible only on purchase of new Accor Plus memberships and for Australian residents only. Cashback is ineligible on renewals, hotel bookings, Business Unit purchases etc.
  • Cashback is eligible only for purchases made wholly online (website).
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of any codes not approved and posted by TopCashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of gift cards for payment and/or purchase of gift cards.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchases made via the retailer's mobile app.

What else is essential

  • Engaging with plugins such as Honey, AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, VPNs, and browsers such as Brave may prevent your order from tracking.
  • You must accept and allow all 3rd party cookies on the retailer's page if requested.
  • You must always return to TopCashback and click the 'get cashback' button through to the retailer's website for each new transaction. Ensure the TopCashback link is the last one used to visit the retailer's website prior to completing your purchase.
  • To be eligible for cashback, all transactions must be completed solely & wholly online and must not be assisted/negotiated via phone/chat/email. Failure to do so will cause tracking to fail and/or have cashback declined.

Good to know

  • Most retailers calculate cashback based on purchase amount excluding GST, other taxes, and delivery fees. Your cashback may report lower than expected due to this.
  • If any part of an order is cancelled / returned / exchanged / modified, it will no longer be eligible for cashback and will be declined in your account.

@bargainatoraah Please don't use any ad blocker or VPN when you shop at TopCashback as your purchases may not track.

      • I posted it on 2 new and one big one. Pretty disgusting.

        • That is ad networks for you. Ozbargain has little control over what is shown and it's one of their only income sources. I have long forgotten about ads as they are blocked on everything

Signed up last year. Only used it once to book a hotel but saved 50% vs other sites, and got a free night in one of their hotels.
But I subscribed via Vietnam (~$190) so nearly half the price of this offer.

      • Heading to Singapore next week for 5 days and had already booked Accor hotel but wondering if it will be worth to join now and get the most out of it . Thanks

  • Anyone got a VPN way of getting this ultra cheap?

  • The Accor Plus membership, now Accor+ Explorer since October, has changed. The single free night benefit is now a Buy One, Get One Free that requires at least a two-night stay (one paid, one free), and the 50% dining discount has been replaced with a flat 30% off food. You need to decide for yourself if this is for you.

Below I want to share my extremely frustrating sign up experience.

I was searching for hotels for an upcoming holiday, saw reasonable prices on Accor, saw the upsized cashback, and decided to join Accor Plus so I could apply the benefits for my hotel booking. After paying, no confirmation email arrived and my membership was not activated, even though the landing page said instant activation. I then spent hours with multiple customer service reps over chat and email, but none could resolve the issue. Meanwhile, the room I wanted sold out, and the remaining options are now much more expensive. I am now worse off than if I had just booked without Accor Plus. It is now three days later and still no resolution. I do not even know if I should book the hotel now, because if my membership suddenly activates later, I will have effectively paid for nothing! And of course, my cashback didn't tracke either. For me, this whole experience is a major deterrent, a system failure accompanied by unhelpful support.
