I think all the NBN stuff is at layer 2, while any blocking of specific sites would have to be layer 3. So NBN could not technically block specific sites.
Perhaps you are using a different ISP with NBN than you were using before? I went to the site and it seems to be a site that links to online file storage sites containing pirated movies, I couldn't see how you could 'watch" the movies, but maybe that comes with an account?

  • nothing for me on tpg nbn is blocked i pirate/stream from sites like yours but different ones.

  • but i watched one just 2 weeks ago with the NBN ISP - its called duck quacks dont echo.
    now its blocked.

    • Sorry but I couldn't find anything like that …

Not even on the site mate.

      • works for me
http://www.watchfreemovies.ch/watch-tv-shows/2014/watch-duckā€¦ (well theres a link on the site)
And lots of suss links to trick you to watch, maybe you now have a virus or similar.

Terrible site, and even with a popup blocker it still pops up and under a heap of windows. Would never visit again.

sorry axel, this was for the OP.

i guess it doesnt work when you copy paste the name from above lol.

yep it which is a copy paste of another site ive used http://www.primewire.ag/

i prefer to download what im after then stream is shitty quality.

When you say blocked, what error do you get?

  • yes it redirects you to - http://www.primewire.ag/

    Error i get MSKEGGS =

    Deceptive site ahead

Attackers on www.watchfreemovies.ch may trick you into doing something dangerous like installing software or revealing your personal information (for example, passwords, phone numbers, or credit cards).

These sites make money by installing malware and such. It isn't a good way to access movies.
Torrent sites are a little better, but you need to be cautious about software you download etc.
It seems you are not a very technical computer user, so you might want to consider if accessing info this way is a good idea. For example, if you accidentally get the malware that encrypts all your hard drive, are you able to restore your files from back up? Can you afford to have a non-functioning computer for a few days while you sort it out?
I don't let my kids use torrent/pirate sites unaccompanied as they are deliberately set up to try and trick you into installing malware.
Kat.cr and thepiratebay.se are slightly more reputable, but they are still infested with dodgy stuff, and there are rumour TPB is now compromised by law enforcement, if that is a concern for you.
https://torrentfreak.com/ is a reasonable site for information on piracy.

  • NOTE …. Specific site blocking is NOT done by NBN.
A neighbour who connected to NBN via Dodo does have some sites blocked.
I am yet to find any blocked on my NBN connection through another provider.
Some ISP's DO block certain sites. Check each ISP to find out which does what.
