you could at least credit lyl for this deal as it was part of his deal (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/242883).

Yes and declare the referral link you have put in. The original post didn't have any.

  • Thanks for the find and sharing. I just ordered a Sony hx90v after my Canon S110 died last week, lens won't retract, seems a common problem :( I've had it since 2012 so it did well.

New camera wants SDXC so this will be perfect. I might get the 128GB so I don't have to worry about running out of space during a holiday.

    • I've always cringed when i heard people say "I got the largest card so i don't have to worry about running out of space".

I've been with friends and on tours when people's "large" card broke and they were so pissed off… I usually just hold a few 32gb cards, and offload the photos once i get back to the hotel, so even if a card dies, you only lose 1 day's worth of photos.

      • Yeah I know what you mean. From personal experience I've encountered problems when I actually go to delete/clear/format cards so I like to store the photos on the card for as long as possible and just copy files every night. So the larger the card the better for me. And it tends to be the cheaper cards that fail on me, hopefully not US$184.99 ones!

      • I have used Lexar Pro cards for a long time and only ever once had an issue which was actually due to a faulty battery grip cutting power mid writing files.

I posted them back to Lexar, no receipts needed or questions asked they sent me a brand new replacement card.

  • There seems to be a few reviews pointing out Olympus's (or at least the OMD-EM5 MKii) incompatibility with these cards, I have no personal experience just a heads up.

  • You know you've been working too long with a significantly mental health caseload when you read the title as Lexapro 1000 & think to yourself, that's a lot of antidepressants for $30! ;)
