Amazing photoshop work on those promo pics… lol. Perhaps it may have been easier to actually use chips? I wonder what shortcuts were taken against the others that cost about $100 more?

    • That might genuinely be the funniest thing I see all day, I had to click on the link to fully appreciate the image…thanks for pointing it out! :)

Look at the size of those chips!

Definitely looks like someone has just plated up KFC. Think I'll pass.

You can't beat 2D chips. Especially from an air fryer…

  • Seems cheap for an air fryer.

Anyone have one of these and can comment on the quality please?

  • Air Fryers are just the latest in kitchen appliances that'll be thrown to the back of the cupboard.

Along with appliances such as the Kmart $10 Fondue Set, Dutch Pancake Maker, Popcorn Maker etc

I prefer my air fryer over my shitty oven, and my awesome popcorn maker is well used… thank you very much :D

    • Got the cheap RankArena one from DealsDirect more than 3 years ago, and we use it a few times a week heating up small bread, frying lamb chops, etc. Many of our friends have been asking us where to get those cheap airfryers. Now DealsDirect & OO have changed owners and no longer stock them — I'll be interested to know whether it's a good alternative.

That's a fairly generic statement. I use my air fryer on an almost weekly basis, definitely better than the oven for most things, not to mention much healthier than frying things (the whole point of an air fryer). On a side note, if this is any decent then this is an outstanding price.

  • Anyone has experienced with this air fryer before?

      • interesting. The recent "good" reviews smell fake to me. The earlier reviews are concerning, they tell a story of low quality commensurate with the low price.

        Think I'll skip this one.

        • For the benefit of other users that haven't seen the reviews you are referring to I will clarify what the store have told me. There was a connection issue that effected roughly 5% of the units sold in 2014. The customers were either offered a replacement or refund.

This issue was rectified and the product has continued to received fantastic reviews and sales.

If you have any concerns regarding "fake" reviews or wish to see a much larger review panel please refer to their ebay store where you will find they have received 7583 positive reviews in the last 12 months, may of these refer to their Air Fryers.

They also offer a 12 month warranty on all appliances.

  • I finally bought one. Take a punt on $69
The earlier deal of 3.2l for $81 looked good also.
