This is my first time posting here. Fares for roundtrip starting from USD$225 departing from Los Angeles to Auckland with American Airlines.

Departure dates 5 Jul 2016 to 19 Sept 2016

  Someone could almost use this as a cheap "one way" to Australia (i.e. burn the return), but would still need to buy another one way from AKL-Aus.

  Still going, I just booked LAX-SYD-AKL/AKL-SYD-LAX for A$286.20 on Expedia. Will bookend with a SYD-LAX rt.
