This is OzBargain, so whichever colour is the cheapest.

    • yep, and use savings to get a skin/case if needed

  • i bought a lenovo K3 which was yellow. easy to find when it has fallen under the car seat. slipped between the couch cushions. etc

    • he means the front of the phone im pretty sure, which is a standard black for k3 note

  • if you buy black, won't see any stains if you do get any

    • hard to fine if you misplace it

      • we have phone tracking apps nowadays

        • its in your house… yeah i know that…

Anyway. Your should check the phones for yourself.

The small alterations they make makes a big difference.

The new phones ie Samsung s7 /edge, silver is actually the best colour b, previously I hated it, same with Gold, the new gold-platinum is a good colour compared to previous versions

        • we have phone tracking apps nowadays

For productivity reasons I prefer black. Its a little easier for your eyes to adjust + read the display when the screen borders are a dark colour. Examples of other display devices with dark borders are LCD TV's, LCD computer monitors, GPS navigation, telescope/camera viewfinder, cinema curtains.

If you are grubby with food I find the white plastic rear covers on budget phones is twice as time consuming to clean. As the smooth surface of the plastic covers gradually wears away the stains become stubborn, think of it like dirt failing into micro cracks which is harder to clean out.

I love white phones but only flagship phones can get away with it. As they have higher quality LCD displays and use less plastics (ie. more metal surfaces).

The best of both worlds is buying a budget smartphone with multiple rear covers then choose a different coloured cover for every day of the week. Personally I love the feel and texture of a phone more than its colour (eg. rough aluminium, cross hatched carbon fibre, soft touch rubber…).

  • Any colour that's not gaudy. Usually go for Greys or Blacks.

  • My only white phone stained and was very dirty, scuff marks and scratches were more obvious as it aged. No more white, just blacks now.
