    Thanks.

    • I don't get why someone negged your post…

      • +6

Wasn't me but people generally do it because it didn't really contribute to the post.

      • +13

I don't get it either but what can you do.

I was saying thanks because its nice to have the information in advance because not everyone gets the catalogue early.

Learnt my lesson on this site. Won't be saying thanks again.

Don't take it personnally, it's not because you are surrounded by hogs that you should become one. Some people in this community lack basic manners, probably the same who never post anything.

@Bubbleshark: Exactly, I got absolutely slandered when I first posted on OzBargain for saying "First post, please be nice". Don't let it scare you away :)

        • +1

Don't let it get to you. Some people have big thumbs and hit it by mistake, those pesky buttons are pretty close together and really small on some screens.

@stickyfingers: It probably depends if the deal was good as well. I remember posting the deal on free entry to Sydney Opera House and got positive comments. The best find ever!

        • @PeeDee: Oh yeah absolutely. You're right, it wasn't the best deal (Apple Black Friday sales).
It's unpublished now so only me and mods can see it, but the first comment was

"Yes we see the one next to your name this means first post, also this was posted earlier please do a check next time."

Note to self, check the forums.

      • Nor do I. He gets a + from me.

  • Is confectionary refundable? Cause I bought so much last week and wanna refund to get it back half price.

Pretty much anything is at Coles or Woolworths if it hasn't been opened.

I think they are iffy about refrigerated items.

        • They just throw it out from my experience.

      • +1

I am uncertain if they can resell items that have been returned. I think the value of the product is so low that it's just not worth the risk of it being contaminated.

I think our local Woolies donates all "change of mind" returns to the local food bank.

  • Thanks for the good work

Still waiting for 5kg brown rice to come on special! It's been months now :(

    • +2

Me too! The Sunrice brown rice hasn't been on sale for a while. Running low :(

    • same

    • Brown Rice 5kg may be $7 starting Wednesday at another large supermarket chain :)

  • I am with Vodafone already. Can I port out using a 2$ sim and port back in the same day?

    • +2

Make sure you port out using a $2 SIM of another provider (non-Vodaphone network) or it'll take ages. But yes.

    • This is what I'm doing with the deals I've grabbed with some providers ;)

  • How big is that Chicken Schnitzel? 150g?

    • +2

      bigger than your schnitzel. :P

      • I want tacos.

  • 25% off Telstra Prepaid Alcatel Pixi 3 $59.00

Anyone know which Pixi 3 model that is?

Apparently there's a 4", 4.5" and 3.5" one, and 3G and 4G variants of the first two (with very different CPUs and RAM)…

4G 4.5", definitely worth it. 4G 4", worse CPU and less RAM but maybe acceptable for the price. The 3G ones are pretty shoddy. The 3.5" one sounds crap.

And it's not even listed on the Coles online store.

      • Thanks TA! Looks to be the 3G 4.5" (dual Cortex-A7). For $59… kinda meh, guess I'll wait for the next one.

TA thanks for separating out the telco offers. :)

I'm on a data only diet and I've lost so much weight! :)

  • Excuse the ignorance, can I use the Vodafone starter kits in one of their 3G wifi modems for just the data?

  • Interstellar is a pretty decent film. Saganesque.

  • RSPCA Approved Crumbed Chicken Schnitzel $1.40 Each

Don't think this is legit … couldn't see it in catalogue with a quick browse after not finding it instore on the meat section or deli.

    Could be wrong …
