Was going through some cheap 40+ inch LCD LED TV and came across Kogan 40" LED TV (Full HD)
which uses Samsung panel usually $359 price dropped to $319 + Free Shipping only for today.
The specs looks decent for this price. It has good rating on kogan website of 4.2 stars out of 5. Anyone has bought this? any review or thoughts on this? really keen to know how good is the samsung panel. Am also looking at Soniq 43" Jbhifi for $399 and Platinum 40" in Target for $359.

DSE has 30% off there TV's if you can find any
True the DSE 42" is around $285 but my primary concern is warranty. If the Tv has faults then i have to bear the cost to ship it back to DSE as the stores eventually will be closed.
What's warranty with Kogan like? If the TV faults during warranty period, who pays for shipping?
Kogan will look after the return shipping and has 14 days refund policy.
As of now Dicksmith staff doesn't know about the return shipping process and who will bear the cost.

I just ordered one and it came with free delivery! If you've signed up for the Amex Cashback it's a steal at $289 delivered.
I don't normally bother with extended warranties, but they also offer a pretty good price of a 5 year warranty at $67.
I just put my regional WA postcode into the checkout and it said free postage!
EDIT - this has a banner in the tv section of the website that says free shipping
soniq has a 40" REFURB with similar specs for $239 - but postage is pretty high. melb $40, NSW $50, QLD $60, WA - forget about it.

I have seen in store DSE brand tv picture quality quite sharp, just worried about warranty claims

Bought this TV less than two years ago. Can confirm that picture quality is great but sound quality is horrible. I believe mine has the Samsung panel. Considering the price point and the fact that it's still going strong as my main TV, I'm quite happy with it.
Don't forget the $30 cashback with Amex for spending over $150
