  • Good for the bathroom?

  • Any good for driveways?

    • Its ok for driveways but its a bit underpowered IMO. I use one for rental properties between tenants etc. and it'll do but I'd prefer something more powerful if I was to do a big driveway. You have to do more than one pass for tough oil stains etc.

      Its fine for cleaning cars.

      • For large areas (patio, etc.) I find you need the dirt blaster, otherwise you will take forever (the large circular "patio cleaning tool" is useless IMO). The dirt blaster is expensive on its own though.

  • good for car? or its too powerful it can damaged the paint?

Can definitely damage the paint. I have stripped paint off a car in my teen years, because the people I was employed by to wash cars asked me to use the high pressure cleaner. If you adjust the nozzle the risk may be reduced though.
But the thing is, high pressure cleaners are not that useful for cleaning cars. The grime is not removed by them, just particles. A sponge with soap does a better job.

      • First of all, a pressure washer is NOT used to 'clean' the car. Its job is to get the car wet before washing, if you have a soap attachment, to spray the car with proper car soap and to rinse the car by having the water sheet across the paint. Many, myself included, simply use it to save water when washing a car. You should not be using very close to the surface of your car because you will damage the paint and trim.

Secondly, never use a sponge to clean your car as dirt gets trapped on the surface and in the holes on the sponge and creates swirls in your paint (this requires a cut and/or polish depending on the age and quality of the clear coat). You should use and constantly rinse, in a separate bucket, a microfibre mitt. The larger surface area allows for more dirt collection which means you're rubbing less dirt onto your paint surface.

And the consensus is that high pressure washers are extremely useful for washing cars. Why do you think people take their cars to a DIY car wash station?

I felt the need to clear up some drastically incorrect statements here.

  • I have trouble reaching my middle back when showering. Will this be good for that?
