Looking for a Pair of Bluetooth Earbuds, Found Someone Selling Jaybird X2 on eBay for AUD $119. Worth to Take The Risk?

It's USD127+ on Amazon and USD148 elsewhere.

Some HK seller has it for only AUD 119 + 15 shipping cost, 31 sold on record. I hardly buy things on ebay, but at this price cannot resist, any thoughts?

Jaybird is an American brand manufacturing in China, so it can't be fake, right…

Comments

  • I won't. Two reasons:
    - they may be good imitations
    - i've had to get mine replaced twice under warranty, difficult to do with the ebay sellers

    • Talked with the seller, imitation confirmed.

Did you buy it from fitshop?

Probably more at risk of being faked. Factory employee's smuggling designs, to sell to counterfeit making factories, etc.

The only way to spot a fake would be to know your product and examine product quality before purchasing. Thats what I do everytime I visit the electronic markets in china.

I know the price sounds tempting but for $50 extra you can get one from a better source, but from time to time fakes do make their way to Amazon. Check seller reviews first.

  • What risk? I don't understand what you're getting at. If you're asking is eBay safe then yes, PayPal will refund you if you are scammed.
