Latex mattresses are more comfortable and durable that pocketed spring mattresses, but they are very expensive. I've had mine for about 20 years and it's still fine.
So you're saying that bed doesn't get all that much "action" ?
I'd prefer a 5% latex mattress with 100% discount

I have had for 18 years top of the range dunlopillo mattress and slatted base fully adjustable and just changed to new bed a week ago. Don't believe anyone that one bed is more comfortable then other designs try them out for your self. Don't believe that something last for ever latex has a life of 20 years and it softens during its life. Most manufactures use multiple foams and latex and springs to try to design a comfortable bed, from my experience 100% off any single product gives best design.
Best practice is to change your bed no more than 10 years, every thing in life brakes down and sags and design of beds change and get better.
Don't latex mattresses get very hot?
I'd rather sleep on the carpet with a pillow than buy one of these for $930.
