Does anyone know if the frozen mango pieces are any good ?
Its a bit of gamble tbh. Some of it theres a hairy floss in it, some just good. The good ones tastes nice btw, i buy it all the time

Mango + bit of milk in a strong blender = mango sorbet. Top with some crushed dark chocolate for a tasty dessert

I second the Turkish bread! $2 per loaf is unbeatable. Also the salted caramel ice cream is a must for an indulgent night.
The grassfed steak. Better than most restaurants. Cooks amazingly easy. Doesn't have a bunch of water in it like the others. MELTS IN THE MOUTH. Damn fine!

I'm a huge coke fan but aldi's cola is fantastic and you cant taste much of a difference between the 2. Its a great coke substitute at a quarter of the cost

Worst: Any of the WestCliff Juices.. Had to tip the last bottle down the sink undrinkable.

Tinned pumpkin soup - watery.
Either of the S&V chips varieties (i.e. regular and slow-cooked) - there's something about them that is NQR. Maybe there's not enough MSG hahahaThere are some things that I will alternate with private brands at Coles, only out of convenience. I won't go out of my way to shop at 2 different stores a week, unless there's a particular special I want.
Regarding the packaging: I have always thought that part of the reason Aldi is trying to imitate the packaging of the name brand product reasonably closely is to give a big hint as to which company is supplying that product for them. I figure that if the company that most closely resembles their packaging was not supplying Aldi, they'd be coming after them pretty damn quickly for some sort of trademark violation.
