Gelato Messina for Gold Coin Donation (Normally $4.80) @ Westfield [Chatswood, NSW]

750

Gelato Messina, one of Australia's best gelato shops, in conjunction with Holden is offering a gelato for a gold coin donation ($1 or $2). The temporary pop up is located in Westfield Chatswood, next to Nandos/General Pants. They will be there until May 22.

Gelato Messina usually costs about $4.80 for 1 scoop and $6.80 for 2. Not sure how many scoops you get. Maybe someone can take one for the team and report back. :) 1 scoop per person.

  • Got some yesterday. No gold coins on hand so sucked it up for charity and donated $5, though we got two individual single scoops, for myself and wife.

There were 3 flavours available, one was apple pie… can't remember the other two

Which charity? Clicks link. Oh, Holden. Yes, I heard GMH is in a spot of bother and $200 million is not enough to help. Every gold coin counts!

    • Holden Spark

      Whatta nugget!

Power 73 @ 6200rpm - [Maximum figures as per ECE regulations]
Torque 124 @ 4400rpm - [Maximum figures as per ECE regulations]

      • Does it even come with a spare? The Chev Spark in North America comes with a compression kit and apoxy something. It's the worst.

      From here:

You can taste the delicious Spark flavour by simply providing one gold coin donation with all proceeds going to a series of charities including Fitted for Work, Leukaemia Foundation, Landcare and the Shepherd Centre throughout the pop-up.

  • I work in Chatswood. Gotta break up $20 worth of coins.

  • Thanks for the heads up. Gonna try some today after work!

  • where exactly is it? I don't visit Chatswood Westfield often so I don't know where is general pants / nandos… what level is it? Near what other stores?

    • Level 3.

    • Pretty close to Anderson St entrance

  • Messina seriously makes the best gelato ever..

  • Tried the apple pie flavour today. Wasn't that good, so for those who go don't get apple pie.
