Jetstar Booking Warning

Hey,

I have all my credit cards memorized in my mind, however today I forgot one of the digits. If you enter your details wrong twice the system blocks you and requires you to phone them up.

So I phoned them up and they said only after 24 hours the system would allow you to try again. Then I said lets do the booking over the phone and surprise it cost $100 more!! What a joke this is and the person was adamant that it only resets after 24 hours and got angry when I said no thanks.

I went back online 1 hour later and boom the booking went through with no problems.

Anyways the point of this thread, is to warn people and don't panic if they land in same situation.

          Also they don't make the POLI option easy to find either, to avoid the fee.

    No warnings necessary to anyone who has previously dealt with Jetstar!… but thanks anyway.

    What I can't understand is why you trust such an incompetent mob with your credit card details.

    Wouldn't you be better off using PayPal fed with a debit/credit card?
