  • Are these better than Xiaomi?

  • +5

Why would someone want this, over say a romoss 20000mAh which I recently bought for $30?

  • +5

Or, you could buy 6 of the xiaomi 10AH ones when they're on sale (every couple of days).

    • -1

Quite easy to carry 6 in your pockets.

      • +1

Don't you only need to carry 2 to match the capacity?

        • Yeah, and two Xiaomi 10000mah powerbanks would be smaller than one of these:

          Xiaomi

          9.10 x 6.04 x 2.2cm

          Lenmar

          14.66 x 11.86 x 2.18cm

  • Lol whatta rort!

  • +3

Xiaomi 20000mah is available for $79.95 locally or $50 from China. It also has a better form factor, quality cells compared to the unknown cells in the Lenmar, and supports QC 2.0 input.

You also have the added bonus of not supporting Mr. Harvey.

How does that warrant a negative vote? It neither have 4 usb ports nor 20800mah. I get it that it's good quality but to warrant a negative vote it should have similar or more features.

I don't know if this deal warrants a neg as it is a seperate item to the Xiaomi and romoss that have been posted here but it's in the same world of products. The only real advantage I see here is that it has an ac wall charger included. Which I assume will charge the unit much faster than usb would. However. Is this worth $60-80 more than competitors? Not for me it's not.

Thanks for sharing anyway. Hopefully its useful to someone. I'd stick with a Xiaomi

It also has additional two usb ports and extra 800mAh than what is posted above. And has above 4 star reviews on amazon.

It neither have 4 usb ports

That's a very niche requirement and would be a disadvantage for most people due to the extra weight and increased chance of dirt/water ingress.

        nor 20800mah

Despite the listed capacities, the Xiaomi likely has a larger capacity than the Lenmar due to the quality 18650 cells. In any case, 800mah is negligible.

to warrant a negative vote it should have similar or more features.

"better form factor, quality cells compared to the unknown cells in the Lenmar, and supports QC 2.0 input."

The only real advantage I see here is that it has an ac wall charger included. Which I assume will charge the unit much faster than usb would.

Apparently not considering the stated 10 hour charge time for the Lenmar. It's likely just a regular ~2A USB AC charger.

How does that warrant a negative vote?

A superior product is available elsewhere for cheaper. Anyway, I only voted negatively to aware other users that this isn't a deal. This seems to mean a lot to you so I'll revoke my vote.

        • I think you should read this page before making assumptions "Includes AC power adapter and Recharges the Mutant in 10 hours"

        • @Jimmy007:

So you have to carry around a bulky proprietary charger that can't charge anything other than this powerbank. Might want to list that in your post bud as the lack of USB input is a huge hassle.

        • @ComfortablyNumb: again you didn't read properly and started making assumptions, it also comes with usb charger and few other different plugs for other countries. If you still think it's not worth the difference. Then this would be my last reply to your comments.

        • @Jimmy007:

it also comes with usb charger

No it doesn't. It's a proprietary charger only for this powerbank, as I previously said. There is no USB port on the charger itself. http://www.lenmar.com/catalog/product/gallery/id/56772/image…

If my 13000 one is anything to go by, I guess this weighs a tonne.

  • Pointless and over-priced for what it can do.

Much better buying 2 or more smaller powerbanks. They are lighter, you can share them easier, and they charge faster.

I won't neg because it's perhaps a reasonable price. Nothing to compare it to, as not many people would bother with such a thing.
