  • 8 hours battery life. Impressive for such a compact GPS device but still well short of what's really useful (ie at least 1 full day or say 12 hours of use).

  • +1

    $88*

  • what's the difference between the $58 and $88 model?

    • Vibrating Alerts
Barometric altimeter for precise elevation data
Thermometer to monitor and capture outside temperature

      • Wonderful, another device emitting a stream of data to obsess over neurotically.

    That is one ugly watch.

I know it's made for the functionality, but at least try and make it look semi decent

    • imho it's rather bicycle computer than a watch.

      • that's what I'm getting it for at this price…… problem with things like fit bit is they don't interface to other devices so hard to read heart rate when cycling. would be nice to get an affordable wrist based heart rate monitor that blue toothed to an affordable bike mounted display so no more strap.

  • I've had one for a couple of years and it does the job well. I use it for running and riding, the only issue is it occasionally takes a while to get a GPS lock especially in the city. I've used it on a 200k ride (Around the Bay) and found it lasted for the full ride, which would have been more than 8 hours elapsed time.

  • thks I can do without the altimeter so the $58 looks like a deal for me.
actually says has altimeter but not temperature ……..

when I go to order delivery is $5.95 for 1 unit and $29.95 for 2 units so need to place 2 orders…..

ordered 1 with 5.95 postage and completed order but the second one comes up as $14.95 postage…….

    • the altimeter is based on GPS data in the switch and or a barometric measurement in switch up (i.e. more accurate)

  • seems the plus version comes with the bike mount, the cheaper version doesn't …. so better off with the $89 version than buying $59 and then the bike mount kit for $29.95 if it's for cycling ……. also there is an extended battery pack available as an accessory so you get 16 hours it's $39.95.

looks like a phone call to see if I can upgrade my order …… and if they can keep the $5.95 postage and not lift it to $14.95.

hmm ordered second unit for my son, a plus so we get one bike mount kit each (comes with 2 bike mounts) , if I choose my brothers address 2 kms away it drops postage back to $5.95 …… is this something where they don't want people buying more than one hence postage triples for 2nd unit ?

  • The switch up doesn't seem to be available for sale.

  • I placed an order for the up, have now received email saying not available do I want a refund……
