Currently using 8 yrs old Dishlex and looking to update, as the old one consuming more water and electricity. Would like to get some comments or experience?

I've used a Bosch, a Miele and a Stirling(?) dishwasher. The stirling was noisy and a hit and miss :wouldn't recommend unless you were on a tight budget. The Bosch has the most bells and whistles but does feel gimmicky. The Miele was perfect in every way and built like a tank.

I was comparing your exact models of dishwashers earlier this year. Really wanted the Bosch because of the lights and Zeolite but the Miele open boxed centre had a 6100SC for $1075 so ended up buying that - take a look at your open boxed centre in your city. Virtually brand new machines, but doesn't come in a box (ex-display or damaged carton). Still has brand new warranty.
I do notice that it doesn't dry as well as I'd like but besides that it's been good.
I don't have that option as this is through the insurance claim
We had an old dishlex when we moved in and couldn't watch tv at the same time it was so loud….disshhhhhhhhlex…NOT !
Bought a 2nd hand Miele for $200 from a rich suburb after their kitchen renos.
Can hardly tell it's on !

By reading all the comments, it appears that Miele is a better brand. However, the poll result doesn't reflect this. Did the Bosch users comment?
There are far more Bosch dishwashers sold than Miele as Bosch has cheaper and more expensive models.
So more Bosch owners means more Bosch votes.
Miele being a 'premium' brand sells less but I think generally their clients are pretty satisfied.

Ordered the SMS88TI03A from HN. They don't have stock so ordering direct from Bosch for $1750. They matched DavidJones price. Another $250 for 4 years replacement insurance.

Installed Smeg appliances in a kitchen some years back and they were utter rubbish. Worst all round consumer experience ever due to chronically faulty products and pathetic customer service. Installed Bosch appliances approx four years ago and absolutely no problems. Would never consider Smeg again, even if they were free!
I had a Miele , Now an asko, love the asko, it's the only one that drys Tupperware , highly recommend it. I think it does a better job , but both are very good. Should get 20 years from both.
