I haven't tried 2014 Four Sisters Merlot but with a gold medal & 96 points - Royal Melbourne Wine Show presumably its decent. Also:

  Show scores are meaningless. Halliday points are more realistic. 90 from Halliday isn't good at all. Some $4 wines (Sacred Hill, for example) sometimes get 89 points.

    Melbourne should be a well-run wine show - but there is alot of variability in show results so you can't put a lot of of faith in show results. People are becoming perhaps more sceptical of Halliday though. I couldn't find a review by Hooke/Stelzer/Mattinson to add. But Halliday did include it in his Top 100 and its $8/bottle.

    Cracka wines $35 referral vouchers don't stack and have a 3 month expiry - I'm unlikely to buy anything from Cracka in that time so I wouldn't get any benefit from posting this.
