According to One Company, You're a Second Class Citizen if You Buy Their Product Via a Discount Voucher Site

Hi everyone,

Just thought I'd post about my experience with a particular company that has stuffed me around twice (I've had to reorganise two weekends around them because they cancel their one day sessions). The first time this happened (1 April) they sent me a scant email offering no explanation and there was no consultation what-so-ever when they automatically booked me into another session - a session that was in the middle of the week and not appropriate. I rang them at that point and I got a very sincere apology from one of their sales reps for the short notice and lack of explanation. She then rebooked me into another session, this coming Sunday. After receiving another email tonight telling me that they've cancelled due to "unforeseen circumstances" I posted a bad review on their FB page I got a very aggressive response from someone on their social media team - to the effect that I don't have a right to complain because I bought the experience as a voucher off Cudo.

Have a look here if you want a laugh. All I can say is, wow.

Agree that there was nothing aggressive about their response. It was proper and to the point. OP lost the plot it seems.

seconded. Looks like the representative replied by quoting the terms and conditions of the voucher sale.

I think the '$69 voucher' line was uncalled for and reflected poorly on the business.
However, had that line been left out I would agree that it was otherwise a professional response.

  • I am not really an artistic or famous TV person but your fb profile pic immediately reminded me of the same colour combination of this guy’s phone cover & bow tie (matching with your second tie), white shirt and black frame specs.

He didn’t pay a penny to be a famous person all around the world. In fact he even admitted he had no money at all.

I wish you all success in your future endeavours.

  • I see no problem with their response and explanation.
