    The Optus PrePaid 4G Alcatel Pixi 4.5 is $34.50 at Coles this week, it has a 5mp camera also. Battery is included.

    I presume "1.3MP Sensor 5MP" means it's a 1.3MP sensor "interpolated" meaning upsized (rubbish) to waste space at 5MP?

        I had same resolution but different brand camera for kids. It was such poor quality that it was useless. Threw it away. Not saying this one is as bad, but may be worth trying to track down reviews.

        No it actually says that on the web site "1.3MP Sensor 5MP Snapshots via interpolation"

        All the interpolation does is waste card space. You could interpolate larger with any image editor.
