  • Don't buy this. It's not great.

It's probably past its best before too.

    • +1

Probably? Might be close but highly unlikely to be past its date.

Reviews are okay for the product type. It ain't "beer" .

      • The 6 pack I purchased from the bargain bins last week was.

    Drink low alcohol beer? That's a radlin…

  • No idea how good or bad it is but bought myself a six pack :)

    • +1

The only kind of 6 pack you'll ever have :P

  • whats a radler? never heard of it.
Is that what you call a beer with a squeeze/slice of lemon in it?

    • According to wikipedia, it is a mix of beer and lemonade, which is a type of shandy.

      • thanks.
so a trendy new name for a shandy.

    • Radler is the german term for shandy.

      • thanks

Seems about right for the price of bottled water…

  • Great price but do the make beer for men?

  • i bought some of the one that liquorland are pimping. Tasted quite good. What wasnt bad was the severe reflex i had afterwards. Turns out their one is 1/3 lemon juice so i had basically just drank a 350ml bottle of lemon juice

    • What wasnt bad was the severe reflex i had afterwards

What reflex was affected? Gag reflex? Blink reflex?

Or do you mean you had a lot of reflex copy paper afterwards?

      • +1

shit, i meant reflux. stupid autocorrect

  • It tastes like someone mixed a stoli and a beer. Not unpleasant, but more of a summer drink I think…

    • Agreed. These on a hot summer's afternoon in Europe are just the thing needed

  • Yes sir! Should have come in a six pack so you wouldn't have to wait for them to refreeze!

  • It's a great beer in my opinion, nice and refreshing and good if you still plan on driving later.

I cannot grasp the concept of drinking alcohol that is so weak that you can drive afterwards. Hell, if it doesn't have any effect, then you might as well not bother drinking it.

You see, I view alcohol as a way to get drunk, so if the objective is NOT to get drunk… then might as well drink non-alcoholic liquids.

For example: why buy alcohol free wine that doesn't taste like wine? Better to buy grape juice.

      • Because of the taste. If they had this in a non alcoholic version I'd buy that too.

That's the problem with Australian drinking culture. Go to Germany and see the difference in cultures. Sure people still get drunk, but they know how to handle it.

          Because of the taste

Which is a great theory except that non-alcoholic versions don't taste the same. The alcohol is what creates the taste. Consider "alcohol-free Vodka" :-)

If they had this in a non alcoholic version I'd buy that too.

The company that eventually perfects non-alcoholic beer that actually tastes like beer will make a fortune. Until then, I prefer to drink water rather than some watered down dishwater.

That's the problem with Australian drinking culture

          HUH?

Sure people still get drunk, but they know how to handle it.

That makes no sense whatsoever. Are you saying that Aussies cannot handle their non-alcoholic beverages?

I just realised that I forgot something, so my posts look a bit random. You said:

It's a great beer in my opinion

And my responses failed to say that this is NOT BEER.

It is a lemon drink with beer flavour. What Aussies would call a "Shandy" (except this is more lemonish).

Please note that I really like the taste of Radler too, but I have never thought of it as beer!
