    I really like their polymer buckle TDU belts. No more having to take off your belt at the airport.

      Dont bet on it. I was made to take mine off even after telling them it was only carbon fibre and leather. I was also wearing some very minimal sand shoes (think dressy version of Dunlop Volleys) and was made to take them off as well for X-ray… Depends who you get on the day, I guess.

        yeah, that's true. But from personal experience, I've never had to take my belt off. I've travelled international and locally at least a dozen times (that's both ways and internal flights, so been through metal detectors at least 30 times) with the belt and have never been asked to remove it. I've been 'wanded' a few times but never had to remove my belt. The belt won't set off the metal detectors but they can ask you to remove it.

        But you're right, it's not a guarantee. Like those 'airport friendly' pocket knives by leatherman. It ticks all regulations but it all depends on who you get on the day.
