Lavazza Minu Capsule Machine + 96 Capsules $69 + Shipping @ Dick Smith + 32 Free Capsules upon Machine Registration @ Lavazza

110

This deal gives you The machine and 128 (roughly) capsules for $69 plus shipping.
First time post, this seems like a decent deal compared to Aldi which has their machine for the same price but without the 96 free capsules.

Wiki says: "If you are no longer associated with a store please contact the moderators to have your association removed."

    • Cheers have done that :)

    • Cheers il ad that to the title :)

…plus shipping…. and freight insurance to cover loss or damage in transit…..

    • I updated title, shipping and insurance was $11 for me (NSW) so it comes to $80.

      • $18 delivery to Gold Coast (without insurance). Maybe add "plus shipping" in title.

        • Really that's weird I did it for NSW and SA and they both came out at $9

    • Or you can click and collect

  • Good deal if you want the Coffee Machine, but I already have a Map and a nespresso so its not cheap coffee.

I feel like DS has died and this website is its spirit… kinda creeps me

  • Can anyone comment on the extra 32 pods? Can't find this info anywhere.

    • From their website
"Fill out the form to register your machine and take up the complementary capsule offer"
Im not entirely sure of the number but Bamzero mentioned it was 32.

Unless anything has changed, you'll get a box each of Deciso and Armonico.

      • Thank you :)

  • Also another pod brand here

Buy 4 packs of pods (48 capsules, 12 in each box) for $31.99, and get a Free Vitoria Coffee Pod Capsule machine.

When looking at the Lavazza A Modo Mio range or every coffee capsule machine range. Consider total cost of ownership. Amodo Mio pods aren't cheap and there aren't many generics on the market. Having said that I'd rate them on being at top of coffee pods taste wise.

I bought the machine from the last deal and got the extra 32 pods as well. The coffee taste is very good, heaps better than Aldi, but it comes with extra cost now when I have finished the 128 pods that I had with the machine.

When I get some free time I'm going to try to reuse some of the old pods with self cut foil caps. I got a pretty good bean grinder so i got to try at least :) Maybe I get to reuse a pod once. Fingers crossed ;)

      • ive tried this and it works on the minu version as the perforations sits on the removable bit. However i did notice that the water seems to pour out faster.
I've tried to match similar grind size too.

        • Thank you! I keep that in mind. I've noticed that some original pods come out slowly and some fast.

I did like the Aldi macgine when it auto switched off exactly when it should. With this you can't leave it unmonitored (had few overflow cups in past ;).

  • Isn't this Kogan's regular deal?

    • I don't think so, it's more than half of the RRP ($178) and I don't think it usually comes with the free capsules

    • Sort of. In January I posted the same deal with the same price etc (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/230532), but it's come & gone since then.

  • I got just the machine for $29 a year back. Decent coffee, a little more expensive over time…
