Seems like Ozbargain likes T.M Lewin shirts, so here's one using their FB ad for $40 shirts combined with a coupon code to bring ALL shirt prices down to ~$34 (from RRP $89.95 for non-iron shirts)

I'm unsure when either of the two will expire.

Step 1: Clear browser's Cookies
Step 2: Go to T.M Lewin and put an item in your cart
Step 3: Go to checkout and apply Coupon Code AUNIBA16
Step 4: Visit T.M Lewin site via this link Shirts should now display with $40 and Free Shipping.
Step 5: Add the shirts you want and order.

Remember if it doesn't work for you, start again from step 1. This method is heavily dependent on your browser's cookies!

Notes:
1) Cheers to "crazy horse" in a previous T.M Lewin post.
2) First post, so be gentle.
3) Also first time ordering T.M Lewin Shirts.

How do these compare with Charles Tyrwhitt?

    • That's what I would like to know too.

      • +2

Search TM Lewin on Ozbargain and there's a fair few comments talking about their quality and size/fits.

and here's a blog entry that compares TML, CT and two other brands with the author favouring TML.

How do these compare with Charles Tyrwhitt?

Shirts from both brands are manufactured by Smart Shirts Ltd.

      http://www.smart-shirts.com/sunrise/clients/

As are the shirts from Timberland, Hugo Boss, Pedro del Hero, etc.

    • +1

I have both. I prefer CT.

    • I have both as well, but I prefer TM Lewin. TM Lewin are a lot smaller, Extra Slim Fit (CT) is about the same size as Fitted (TM).

So if Extra Slim Fit at CT is too big for you get Super Fitted at TM Lewin

      • Are the armholes on the TM Lewin Fitted shirts higher than the CT Extra Slim Fit shirts? I find the armholes on the CT shirts are too low, which causes the sides to rise up too much when i lift my arms up.

Thanks fuzcatt, I just grabbed 5 shirts. Nice trick to get the price down to $34!

    • +1

My only issue with these online shirts is the sizes. I bought two shirts from the last TC shirts deal couple of months ago. Though I got lucky with the sleeve length and the overall length of the shirts (I went for two shirts that had the regular S M L XL etc sizing), they were bigger in everywhere else. And when it comes to these 'Choose your collar, sleeve, chest' in cm/inches etc, I kinda feel lost and just leave the site.

Do you mind to help us with how you chose your sizes on the site? The thing is, I haven't been to a tailor since my childhood. These days I buy all my clothes tailored to fit from stores and have no idea what my size is in cm and inches etc.

      • +2

Head down to your local Myer and grab a couple of sizes and find out in the change room, don't do it in Kmart/big w because their shirts have more tolerances when they're made so not all 41neck 90 sleeves are as accurate. im 6foot and 90kegs and that's the shorts I wear 41collar 90 sleeve

        • Fitted? slim fit? Or regular?

I have Bell and Barnett 41/42 tailored fit.

          And blaq 41/42 with 89 sleeve,tailored fit.

          Also 88kg 6ft/181cm

        • @diddy50:

What do you buy from TML in fitted/slim fit? We're almost the same height/weight.

I get lost on these websites too.

        • @justtoreply:

That's what I was asking rekabkram haha. I haven't bought yet.

So I was hoping he would say which so I could compare and maybe get a few.

        • @justtoreply:

I would get 42 and tailored or fitted. Not slim as I got a bit of a gut/belly. Regulareaves bunches of shirt flapping on the sides, which looks horrible.

  • thx fam, copped.

  • +4

How do these compare to target limited editions

    • +6

      These are the unlimited edition

  • Is it just me or do others have problems finding shirts with pockets in an average / classic wait fit ( not a slim fit).
I know some people think it makes the shirt look better but where to put a pen or glasses, or hide your id tag when going for a coffee. the attendant at DJ said that is what jacket pockets are for …… yeah right in Melbourne summer ?

size wise van heusen do lots of mixed versions eg collar size and 3 different sleeve lengths, get one that fits as a baseline.

    • Pant pockets?

    • CT shirts have options for pockets, you have to shell out another tenner for it though. But I like it

How do these compare with Rivers?

    • +3

No comparison, these are far better

    • +1

Maybe rivers 15 years ago. Not anymore. Haha.

Word of warning: I picked up a bunch in the last deal, but I find the collar sizes run small. Otherwise, great shirts.

    • Dammit I should have listened to you! did you go one or two sizes up?

      • I went one, could have gone two though I think. One up is okay but still quite snug on me.

        • if size is too loose, cant you take it into a TM lewin store and change it as I noticed they have one in Sydney now?

  • Great find but unfortunately the site keeps hanging for me during checkout (selection of delivery address). Tried Firefox/Edge/Chrome and same symptoms.

  • +4

Can't find where to enter code?

    • +2

Follow the steps exactly - i had this same problem until i did it step by step.

      • I did and still couldn't get it working. Using Chrome…

        • did you follow the steps? I had this same problem until I did it step by step.

        • @Koey: yeah I finally got it

  • Any size comparisons to mj bale slim fits?

  • +1

Thanks fuzcatt. Have purchased TML shirts for the last ten years and always been impressed - amazing prices for the non-iron slim fit! For those that are interested, the non-iron are not 'shiny', though some people do have concerns about how the non-iron effect is created….not me, I'm sure something else will kill me before my shirt does.

  • Thanks OP, bought 2 shirts.

  • +2

Just to note, I don't think there are free returns with these. So be cautious about buying a range of sizes to try out like CT shirts.

  • How do their fitted and super-fitted sizes compare with CT extra slim fit?

    • Fitted is about the same size as extra slim fit. Super fitted is skinnier again.

    • I've added a link to an article comparing sizes

  • Hi where do we input the discount code?
    Thanks!

    • +1

You have to browse to the tm lewin website first with cookies cleared. Add any item to cart and apply code.

After this step, you can now browse to the link provided above which drops it to $34.

      • I see it drops to $40 and not $34…and no option to add the coupon code!?

  • +1

Very shirt at very good price. Only problem with TM Lewin is that some of their designs same been same for years and you will a lot of people wearing exactly same shirt as you are. I am not referring to just the white shirts..

  • nvm! got it to work :)

  • Thanks OP, got two!

  • Great deal! I've tried non-iron shirts from both CT and TML and definitely prefer TML. I find the fabric and fit from TML to be better.

The slim fit from TML is a nice cut (I find CT's slim fit to be quite baggy - and had to return for extra-slim fit (which still wasn't as good as TML's cut)…just a sizing guide for those familiar with CT).

  • Thanks OP - great timing I've been thinking I need to replace my existing stock of TML shirts as they're getting a bit worn. Got 6 non-irons for $238 bucks. Thanks!

    • +1

How long do you find they last?

  • Usually buy from Charles Tyrwhitt but at $34 thought I'd give these guys a try. Thanks!

  • I used to buy TML shirts, and converted to CT shirts, but at this price it was worth grabbing a few and trying TML again.

I didn't swap for any particular reason, just at the time of last orders, I found price/design at CT more to my liking, and I feel the fabrics have been of slightly higher quality. The metal collar stiffeners with CT shirts are a nice touch as well.

Nothing wrong with either brand though, and at this price better to most shirts available in AU bricks and mortar stores.

  • Thanks

  • The shirts with cufflinks in the picture… do they come with the shirts?

  • +1

    No non iron super fitted?

  • Thanks OP. Bought a few Shirts :)

  • need a code for the silk ties, I have two from TML and the quality is great

    • I pick mine up from aliexpress for sub 5 a pop. Look amazing and holding strong 2 years on

  • Bought two casual shirts.

Unfortunately they don't have the formal shirts in my size. I have long arms but a slim chest/neck.

Great deal to stock up on those much used white classic shirts.

  • Worked great, thanks! I'm a fan of their non-iron shirts, though some may find them to be a bit on the thin side. Not having to iron them is just such a time saver.

  • Just purchased one of their shirts in store yesterday and was impressed with the quality. For those looking for their size as someone else suggested they sell these shirts in Myer so you can easily get your size there or visit their store where they measure you and give you all the different styles to try to get the correct fit. They even point you to their online store if the colour or style you are after isn't available.

  • Very good deal.

  • Great deal OP, adding an item, clearing the cookies, following specific link to access some cheap shirts that I'm gonna write off come tax time..
    This is my kinda action.

  • Is the site down??

  • Thanks

  • Grabbed 3. Looking forward to comparing them to CT shirts :)

  • +1

    I can't get this working!

    • Yes the link thx!!

  • Thanks

  • thanx, got three

  • I can't get it to $34. I've cleared Cookies many times.

  • Thanks! Ordered 3. Hope sizing works out okay, I've been on clearance David Jones or van Heusen shirts until now

  • No more Cash Rewards?

  • Is Fitted and Fully Fitted the same thing?!

    • No check the sizing chart, it's easy to follow. Fully fitted is slimmer around the waist. It's slimmer than Rhodes and beckett tailored fit, but not as slim as Brooksfield slim fit, which are the slimmest shirts I've come across.

      • I'm pretty sure they are the same. My current shirts (bought at TM Lewin bricks and mortar store in australia) have "Fully Fitted" printed on the label. But when you go to this link: http://www.tmlewin.com.au/Fully-Fitted-Shirts-Size-Chart-Tab… which is for the Fully Fitted shirt size guide, on the table it just says "Fitted", and all the labels on the site just say Fitted.

I hope it is the same thing….

        • I was thinking of super fitted. You might be right

        • @mlburnian: yep super fitted is definitely smaller

  • thanks. hope the shirt fits. suit fits really well

  • Got myself 7 shirts thanks you guys :) Thanks !!!!

  • haha genius deal, hope they fit :)

  • +1

Just a heads up TM lewin say the returns are hassle free but they make you post it back to the UK or you have to return it instore.

  • +3

After playing with the measuring tape for 15 minutes, and feeling more than a little stressed by my inadequacy at this seemingly simple task, I resign myself to simply visiting the store and letting the professionals tell me what size I am.

    Seriously, I suck at this…

    • hmmn, i can see where you are coming from, it may help but im 73kgs 173cms and a 15cm collar or 38 chest fits me comfortably. Reason why I am saying it can give a little perspective if you are similar dimensions. But good luck non the less.

  • Fantastic price for these shirts. I have worn TM Lewin exclusively for work for the last 5 or so years. Thanks OP!

  • It's a shame all the stores are located inner-city. Not every white-collar lives in 'latte land'. They need one closer to the Mornington Peninsula (Frankston Myer, ideally).

  • Thank you fuzcatt, was looking to get some shirts for hubby!! I am not able to "Add to Bag" - nothing's happening. Using Chrome - is it just me or is the site behaving funny for everyone? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    • Same here. I can't get it working. Also tried in IE and Safari. Maybe this was a workaround that TM has fixed.

  • worked fine in chrome. just use incognito mode and c/p the link when you get to step 4. thanks OP.

  • +1

Great find!! Now cannot find the the apply coupon when I select 'Checkout'?? Any help?

  • I follow the above steps and once I clear cookies and go to new link bag is empty.

    • +1

but clearing cookies is the first step - so why would you have anything in the bag to begin with?

  • Thanks OP ordered the super fitted - hopefully they fit unlike the Charles Tyrwhitt extra slims which I had to return as they were too loose

U only need to clear your cookies if you've been to the other special offers link (which will then default to that offer every time you go to the TM Lewin site)

    • Yeah i was worried about that too, but they do appear to be quite a lot slimmer based on that sizing table

  • Do you guys know if they can be returned in-store?
And if the "fully fitted" here, and the casual shirts here, are the same as the "super fitted" and casual online?

Noticed the labels are different for the casuals.

  • it worked on Google Chrome on the first go so I am happy. I went to Myers to try the shirt but they don't have Regular fit so couldn't tell the size but just ordered 4 as its is quote cheap.

  • All working for me. Thanks!
