As cool as that is, i can't justify spending more than $5 on a pack of 3 brushes from coles once a year. :(

I was also sceptical but it Makes a massive difference just read the reviews, saves you dentist visits. and ur tooth will last much longer.

Healthier teeth = longer life scientific fact

I've been using this exact model for a year now. I can honestly say that I cannot go back to manual brushing. It just doesn't feel the same.

  • Tempting, but still a crazy amount of money for a toothbrush. If ever it gets < $200 I'd certainly be more inclined to give it a go, and if offered in the blue. Until then, stay strong my current Braun alternative. :)

  • philips and braun, which brand is better? i am asking about electronic toothbrushes at comparable price points. cheers.

    • Philips 100% better, read all reviews on amazon

I never get these super expensive purchases? The Oral B and the Braun ones are about $40 to $60 with extra heads, charging base etc. Why are these $200 ones worth near 4x the price??
My dentist did convince me to go electric years ago and I get the impression they are genuinely superior but man, 200 vs 40?

    • stronger motor/engine, more strokes per second, different modes, waterproof, wireless charge, etc etc

      • I find it incredibly difficult to believe that justifies 4 to 5x the cost.
Mine is waterproof, has wireless charging and agitates very rapidly.

  • For those who can wait, it has gone <$200 in previous deals like this
    (also Bing Lee too)

  • This is $203 on amazon.com including toothpaste - am I missing something?

power type (plugs and voltage) / warranty / shipping?

      • So? This model also has incorrect plugs, may as well go the cheaper Amazon alternative, from all reports their warranty service is pretty good too.

        • This model has Ozzie plugs.

The Amazon has US plugs plus shipping and currency exchange will outweigh any savings

        • @Bargaingeek:

Hmm I just tried to purchased this morning and it came up for $203AUD including shipping + some heads/toothpaste.
I didn't think about the US plugs… I guess my main concern was the warranty may be difficult, but then Bing Lee is also online so would probably be just as difficult. Usually with issues like these I take it to the manufacturer - much faster/better service.

I ended up buying through Bing Lee - I may lose $20 but it just means I don't have to buy an adapter.

Cheers for this - my OralB just died yesterday!

        • @Bargaingeek:
          Photos show otherwise.

In regards the above comments. There are other ways to reduce your dental visits rather than an electric brush. And reading the positive reviews on Amazon makes it a good product? Maybe everyone that writes a 'review' should actually get advice from their dentist first before parting with their hard earned cash. My 2cents

  • Isn't Phillips cash back on ?

    • They cancelled it unfortunately

  • looks like after my post, alot of people went ahead and purchased this, now out of stock!

  • just an update, this is back in stock - in Ameythst color
