Wild Earth Adventure Gear Sale 24hours Only

30

I bought tenting and accessories from these guys last year for a hiking/camping trip and have no complaints about the products.

There are reviews for a lot of the articles too, which helps.

The following are links that I got in the email, though I would recommend just going through the 'Go to Deal' link, because the site is pretty navigable.

  • I hate that site.
I get lots of email promising discounts and specials but very ambiguous as to exactly whats on special and then you have to troll through pages and pages of so called specials that arent.
I did once find and buy a Wilderness Experience lightweight tarp that was a good price but since then endless emails and nothing.
I'm not negging the OP's post, but merely venting how its hard to be bothered clicking through lots of pages of crap looking for decent specials.
    I no longer bother.
It was easier when they just sent you emails of specific items on special in my opinion which is when it was last I bought anything from them.
Oh and I did grab a headlight torch at the same time as the tarp from memory but have been frustrated since.
    They were prompt with dispatch.

They are the biggest sales trolls ever.

Non-stop emails about sales of up to 30%, then if you check prices versus competitors its almost always the same or more expensive while the sale is on!

Oh and the markup on some of their gear (such as AMK or SOL gear) is unbelievable. I can buy an AMK Shark40 whistle off Amazon for about $9, they are selling it ON SALE for $17.94. The SOL stuff is even worse, sometimes up to 300% markup.

I completely ignore their so-called sales now.

      • Oh wow, yeah you're absolutely right- I typed in Wild Earth in my search bar and yeah they seem to have sales non-stop..

I just saw it when I clicked the promotion part of my gmail(not something I do very often).

I only thought it would be worth posting because I actually got a good deal from them the time I got my outdoor gear- even after comparing with other websites. I was also pretty happy with the products. Thanks for making me aware of that though.

Staun deflators for 4WDers are $73 on their eBay store delivered, $67 or so in the sale but I assume postage on top (given below post), which is still cheaper than Sueprcrap and others at $89 for the same items. So its not all bad.

Shipping is NOT free unless you spend $99 from what I can see and it certainly isn't to Canberra. Never found this mob particularly cheap but ymmv.
