Same. Because I do actually want my local kiosk to stay. It's super handy and I watch nearly every decent new release and TV series that passes through it. It has also saved me from being tempted to buy so many dud Blu Rays.
^^ This, I Have netflix & stan but still love getting physical rentals and am more then happy to pay $1 or $2 for them (Which you never have to due to these deals) but still, I think they are a great idea.
Netflix and Stan dont have new releases. So rentals is a good option.
How do they work? As in how many days can I keep a DVD for?
One night return by 9pm.
One day, then you pay like $1 extra I think per day after if you having returned it

Can confirm it's a full days rental if returned late. It $4 per day for me, even if initially rented free or on a cheap day. You don't get to keep them for extra nights for free.

It was $4 for me. If there is it may be the different types of machines. I have found that you can use all of the codes again on the different machine type. One type Gives $5 credit for free rental the other only gives the amount of one movie ($4 most nights, $2 Tuesdays). The machine that charged me $4 was the one that only gives enough credit for one movie and dispenses rectangular cases for the DVDs (the other ones are square).
@Miss B: Yeah, I was caught out once expecting/hoping to return one of the bigger rectangular cases in a machine for square cases and could not.

Not all titles are available at the kiosks obviously, but in my experience most of the new release stuff is there.
