  • You mean Sept 2017?

    • Probably not. Last drop from phonebot about a month ago expired in June 2016.

Incidentally, it was a waste of $5 for me as telstra reported that the sim had already been used or expired.

      • The website has now been changed from 2017 to 2016. Sounds dodgy.

        • lol selling used expired sims

          not dodgy at all

        • Typo on site fixed now

      • Hi mate,in that case you should have contacted us for a replacement

        • Or maybe it shouldn't happen in the first place? I expected a more convenient experience. Kinda curious as to why that might have happened too.

Anyway, if you make good after I contact you, I'll post back letting folks know how long it took to be resolved.

        • +1

@erroorfree: my sim actually activated. I don't know why telstra is responding differently to this activation attempt but I apologise for suggesting that phonebot did not provide a fit product when it is now evident that it did.

  • Braven 705 is coming up as $86.90 for me ($79 ex GST).

    • +1

      Fixed now

      • Cheers, would've preferred Teal tho.

  • The minimum purchase for these SIMs is 2 pieces.
It won't let you check out with 1 SIM.

    • Ya 2 min

  • Phonebot / errorfree been ok for me, multiple sims over 9 months, all OK so far.

  • Price matched at Marion OW after the staff really checked it out :-) so got a pair for $150.08. They were friendly about it tho and the salesman pointed out there were questions regarding whether the warranties matched [ He apologised for the delay, but no probs - I'm not the one who has to face down head office if they decide he had an "out"]
Charged them [get a pair] up, linked them and started playing. Threw a three hour mix including Nine inch nails [Quake CD] Tony Childs/Peter Gabriel [ I met a man] CSN&Y [Country girl] Christine Arnu [ My Island Home remix] Tom Tom Club [Genius of love] both on the desk as a pair, and then separated the pair to both sides of my bedroom. The base wasn't UE boombox level, but was evident and clear especially on the wide seperation setup [as a pair] Mids including all vocal were clear as, excellent separation with no 'hole in the middle' affect. With the lights out, I wouldn't have believed the sound was coming from two speakers this small if I hadn't seen them. After three hours use then resting till this morning [tho powered down], they were indicating 1/5th charge used after 1-1/2 hours at high volume, and the same at a quieter 'midnight' level.
Did I mention that if you are pulling the plug, it's a really good idea to get a pair.

  • Received mine today. 4 sims in the envelope. Activated 1 and have 2Gb for a month. Very happy.
